2.Why is there not a live action movie of this? Imagine how awesome it would be to see a young boy operating a giant robot [ ZOE 1] Critics would go mad. With the right script and studio, this could easily go the way of Harry Potter.

I had to backtrack to see what you were talking about, missed that post somehow.

The major differences between a hollow body and solid usually comes down to tone and resonance. In my experience, hollow body guitars have a lighter, sometimes twangier tone to them where solids have a warmer more resonant sound. It's really a matter of personal preference though, so try a few of both out to see where you stand if possible.
