I don't think games like Super Mario Galaxy should be labeled "least shittiest" in terms of graphics. It's possible to make a good looking Wii game.

I think certain members of their team deserve credit for things like the highly customisable control (although should you really get credit for doing what everyone expects?).

I think the game as a whole will be totally average at best though.

I've read so many posts on GAF about how everyone would "finally buy a PS3" it's like everyone actually wants a PS3 [ together with its library] but can't simply afford it. All MGS thread are evidence for this. Almost 100 pages, every single thread related to MGS/kojipro. All the port talk, it's like everyone is subconciously positioned to think that PS always has the best franchises.
Last year E3, MS got FFXIII on the 360- everyone went nuts, just for a PORT. It's weird, but it looks like Xbox franchises are considered inferior. :/

I haven't seen nearly the same amount of attention for Bioshock port [ before it was confirmed] or even the impossible Mass Effect port rumours.

Not the Wii itself. But Nintendo's obviously successful approach to digging for a new market. So competitors won't feel it's needed for them to put more funding into graphical evolution.

Xbox hardware has a lower asset specificity and is less proprietary, making it less expensive. Also, it is easier to program for and routinely outperforms the purportedly more powerful hardware of the PS2/PS3. Bitch all you want about quality control (which is completely legitimate), I speak only from a hardware perspective.

when you open a PS3 up and see that giant turbine fan, you just know you're working with some high class hardware. i'm not a fanboy or anything. i own a 360. but i would rather choose the PS3 for my gaming 9 times out of 10. the only exception would be Rock Band as I have all my DLC on the 360. Even there I wish it was on my PS3. the damn 20gb hard drive isn't enough.
