EDIT: Why yes. Yes, they did. The last two episodes were OVAs, released before the season ended, and rather than put them before the last storyline, CR just threw them in at the end as "25 and 26." Good job.

The Persona 5 anime ended yesterday. The left it at a cliffhanger with

Overall it was pretty mediocre compared to the game, however it did some things better (most notably smoothed over the Ryuji and Morgana squabble, gave Goro better development and gave /mygirl/ Kawakami some fan service).

Also the second opening is really fucking awesome.

It's about a girl and a dragon. She had to learn how to pilot the dragon by being swallowed by it and pressing parts of its stomach to make it perform various maneuvers. It's a very cute and good show.

Despite how it seems at first glance, Zombie Land Saga looks like it's going to be a really good show. I mean, MAPPA is pretty consistently great, but seeing "zombies" pretty much just makes my eyes glaze over at this point, but this really surprised me. Lot of fun, great comedy, worth checking out.

Edit: Goblin Slayer is so edge-lord. The first episode has a party of adventures being brutally slaughtered, some rapin', and goblin babies getting clubbed to death.

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken: This is kinda sorta a rip off of the spider isekai.

Uzamaid!: Gotdamn at the animation on this one.

Radiant: Flavor of the week shonen anime, the MC is missing his goggles that he is not wearing to complete his 90's shonen protagonist cliches.

Yuru Camp is getting a second season, a short anime, and a movie.

Skull-Face Bookseller Honda-San is the best anime this season. An entire story devoted to the titular skeleton bookseller dealing with the menace of yaoi fangirls and foreign otaku!

Saw the My Hero Academia movie on Saturday. Wasn't really anything that special story-wise (cool seeing younger All Might in 'Murica for a little bit though) but was cool going to see this in a theater. There were some dudes sitting next to us that I never would have thought as otaku-types, but once it started going they were laughing out loud and cheering for fucking EVERYTHING.
