I can't help but think of another boycott from this year. (I'm trying to not mention a certain topic but if it's still against the rules, please let me know. I just think it's relevant to the comparison.)

Trans people were like "please do not buy this thing, it actively harms us." No stores raided or bomb threats delivered, just please don't support this thing.

To be fair, she does not state her pronouns in the video nor does she have it on her YouTube profile. She doesn't call herself a trans woman in the video either, only saying she is transgender. Using they/them is generally considered acceptable if you do not know.

That being said, anyone using they/them after DiipuSurotu posted her pronouns is at bare minimum not reading the thread.

The emoticons are in a bit of a mess at the moment as I mass imported, they're all on the server but a number of them I need to go through and match the codes to here for so they aren't available in the pop-up. (Which I'll probably need to edit since it's made for a normal amount of them.) Most other things should work as intended, though I know a few things are missing and I already have some plugins. I installed no themes or anything like that. I'm posting this now in part because I can't test the likes by myself and we all know that's essential. Other features to add/disable/etc. we can discuss over there.

If bork, Joe and demi sign up I'll make them moderators just because even if they don't want to do anything. (I probably should recreate the Icon status just in case anyone ever comes back by accident or out of personal despair.) Anyone else we can discuss down the road.

I think this is highly underrated.

Just go up and just tell them how they would look EVEN BETTER to you. "Wear your hair open", "open that up one more button", or just fix their clothes. tell her what would look amazing on her.

Train your eye to look for imperfections and what to do against them. For the clueless, get two-dozen model magazines and look through the pictures SEVERAL times so you get some idea. "I got a buddy that just ended a X year long relationship. And was thinking about taking a class. But I'm telling him to just go out meet people and socialize, w/o any pressure of anything else. To just go out and have a good conversation.
But my roomate SHE thinks that guys meeting girls out in public is hard and next to impossible. She also thinks that classes for empowerment are ironicly lame. Then again she really had no problems attracting people with her job....

Shes ...get this...brace yourself...an exotic dancer double majoring Business and Psychology. She dances to put herself thru school but I dont know what to make of it. It is her life, Im just glad shes still in school.

Peter King, the makeup artist behind Ursula’s look in The Little Mermaid, is pushing back on the backlash he has gotten.

King has been under heavy scrutiny from the LGBTQ+ community over the makeup Melissa McCarthy sports in the live-action film directed by Rob Marshall. With Ursula being inspired by drag queen Divine, some believe that it should’ve been someone in the queer community doing the makeup or giving life to the sea witch.

When asked about the controversy around McCarthy’s look as Ursula, King told Insider in an interview, “I find that very offensive. Why can’t I do as good a job as a queer makeup artist?”
