Prince Andrew had a train crash of an interview in which he says he wasn't at a club with Epstein but at a Pizza Express.  :doge
Then after being confronted with witness testimony, he says there's a problem with it because of an adrenaline overdose in the Falkland Wars he didn't sweat at that time.

Jesus christ this fucker.  :doge

Johnson is already getting wrecked by both the moderator and Corbyn 10 minutes in  :doge

Moderator: "Do you think trust is important"
Johsnon: "Yes, I truly believe...."

Audience: *LAUGHS*

Johnson: "But Brexit"

Moderator: "Let Mr. Corbyn respond"

Johnson: "[inaudible]"

 :lol

Moderator: "Next we're going to ask about the economy, healthcare and possibly Prince Andrew"
Audience: "OOohhh"

NintexSilver Poll Analysis

1. No one trusts politicians in general, let alone one with opposing views

2. I guess folks want a PM that echoes Churchill the most

3. People want a likable candidate even if they disagree with him

4. No one thinks they are ordinary themselves so this doesn't really matter

Quote
Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has doubled down this week on calling the recent ouster of Bolivia’s now-former President Evo Morales a “coup,” but few other U.S. lawmakers or candidates followed suit.

The ongoing debate on whether constitutional order was maintained during and after the transition has echoed a larger divide in global politics. Sanders’s view is shared among the global left, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), British Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who granted asylum to Morales upon his exit from Bolivia.

But the Trump administration — and opponents of the Latin American populist left embodied by Morales and López Obrador — saw the end of the Morales government as a boon to democracy in the region.

"I oppose the intervention of Bolivia's security forces in the democratic process and their repression of Indigenous protesters. When the military intervened and asked President Evo Morales to leave, in my view, that’s called a coup," wrote Sanders on Twitter Monday evening.

That's not really a mispronunciation, though.

"Stein is a German, Yiddish and Norwegian word meaning "stone" and "pip" or "kernel". It stems from the same Germanic root as the English word stone." (Wiki)

Blair really did a number on the Labour party as they can't seem to get past 30% in the polls while the conservatives have finally broken the 40% mark.
You may as well end your party if you can't beat mumbling bus aficionado Boris or gremlin nincompoops like Gove.

I really can't think of a reason why the Tories would poll that well unless people really enjoy watching Boris' train wreck of a campaign.  :lol

Trump is using the age old trick to get rid of a client you don't want.
Simply give them a price they'll never pay.

1) The client accepts (this sucks, but at least you're paid 2 or 3 times your usual fee)
2) The client declines your offer and goes elsewhere (but it is their decision so no hard feelings)

Now China can use "price anchoring" every price that comes after the first offer (5 billion) will be relative.
So something like 2.5 billion is a lot but compared to 5 billion that's only 50% for pretty much the same service.

That is not Art of the Deal but business 101.

When you have a difficult or demanding client you make the price say no.
That way you clear some space for new clients or more work for better paying clients (in this case Saudi Arabia)
It's kinda weird to see it in politics though.

I wonder when Trump is going to give Germany and other countries that host US troops a similar offer.

Nintex's argument rests on the position that the Republic of Korea is a client that's too demanding which is prima facie absurd to anyone who isn't an imbecile.

Having a physical troop presence in any foreign country seems sort of outdated with the drones and everything.

It used to make sense because you had to deploy troops to occupy an area and keep it under control.
Now the wars are fought on the internet, with currency devaluation and with drone strikes.

Saddam couldn't win with tanks and troops against technology in the 90's. Just imagine how such a war would play out 30 years later.

The actual combat in any recent war with NATO involvement was over within a week or less.
After that it's an insurgency or terrorism and guerrilla warfare that most nations are ill equipped to deal with.

The war on Libya lasted until the UK and France ran out of cruise missiles.  :doge
The time that you could win a war by physically marching your troops into someone elses capitol is over.
And no one wants to deal with the shit in the conquered country anyway as they have their own shit to deal with already.

We had a real life example of the deterrent power of US troop presence (and the commitment it represents) just one month ago, when Turkey moved against the Kurds only after American withdrawal.
