The sultan of Oman has passed away. A notable mediator between Iran and the US at times.

In Iran news. Rouhani might resign over the plane that was shot down.
The IRGC doesn't want him to acknowledge Iran shot down the plane so there's a tense situation going on within the leadership of the country.

Yeah, I mean it seems pretty obvious now what happened but it isn't something they can really approach. Fucking up massively during the window of their supposed "full retaliation" where they even took it to Twitter.

Weird to see people try to blame trump’s dumb ass for this, as if he had a hand in developing Iran’s clearly shit targeting c2.

Some people's politics are strictly relative. Completely defined in relation to something else, in this case being strictly opposite the Americans no matter the matter.

On the cover of weekly Le Point, a legitimate media organization™, "How the CGT labor union is ruining France."
Also, as advertised in the upper left corner : "The exclusive confession" of Arnaud Lagardère, a great captain of an industrial empire (he inherited).

I think a lot of people are missing the point that she's complaining about the transition period - i.e. the UK will still follow EU rules and regulations, but won't have representation in the EP anymore. People like her just wanted an immediate and complete exit, without transition or any kind of agreement etc (lolz).

That being said, there's still a hilarious point here: how could UK MEPs have ever held the EU accountable?
I thought the whole thing was just a bunch of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats and Brexit needed to happen so that the UK could at last T-T-TAKE BACK CONTROOOOOL of their laws :thinking

A quick web search shows she owns a business in the fishing industry, which is so incredibly surprising.

And to add to the whole carnival, 75% (IIRC) of the UK's fishing production gets exported - and obviously, mostly to the EU.

The fuck is he having a meltdown in public in Israel for?

Some kerfuffle in or around the St Anne basilick which is legally French territory in Jerusalem. One cop entered the church twice and was expelled by the French security detail the second time and later he accused the Israeli police of being obstructive while he was trying to enter himself.

Some of the press point out Macron stroll in Jerusalem looks too much like the one from Chirac where he told Israeli cops to BTFO to be entirely earnest.

Some op-ed in the Figaro is titling on "Macron appears arrogant while Chirac was sympathetic". Can't say I disagree.
