I tried an authentic Mexican restaurant today, it was pretty good. I got a couple grilled chicken tacos, a really awesome fish taco, and my first ever tamale. Brehs I had to look up a youtube video on how to eat it, that husk confused me. I tried biting it and it wouldn't tear.

The salsa wasn't all that, so I used some left over Taco Bell sauce.

You get tacos with no lettuce at Taco Bell? What do you put on it? The only time I'm a stickler at Taco Bell is when I'm ordering stuff for coworkers. Beans, no tomatoes, no cream cheese...I always feel like an asshole, so I make it clear I'm ordering for someone else by making a show of reading directions from a sticky note. The last people I want thinking less of me is Taco Bell employees.

Sack up. There's no reason not to customize menu items at fast food. You're not making the cashiers life hard by asking them to tap the part on their screen that says "-lettuce"

In fact, by going through this big effort to show it's not for you, you're wasting their time.

Quesarito is okay. They've wrapped an extra tortilla and a layer of cheese around stuff before, so it's nothing mind-blowing. Lot of food, though. I'd skipped lunch so I ordered two thinking they'd be smaller. I was pretty wretched by the time I finished them.

Quesarito is pretty bland, and mine was heavy on their low fat sour cream which has a very conspicuous taste to it that I don't enjoy in large doses.

I won't buy anything with steak at a fast food place. I got that big ass steak burrito a year ago at Taco Bell and there were multiple chewy fat globs in there. And the steak doesn't really have much of a taste. Fuck that.
