Over it's all about Chick Fil-A and Wendy's if it's not McDonalds. McDonalds is king but these places get a lot of folks. Burger King is pretty much down and out. Taco Bell is fairly popular too but not compared to those other three.

Yup BK is always down here too outside of lunch times. The bad service might play a part. All fast food places have one problem or another but BK seems consistently bad around here. The one closest to me has a young-ish manager. Dude seems real put together and solid...but his crew is a bunch of fuck ups. He winds up sweeping floors and working cash registers constantly...

Taco Bell was slow last night, and I could tell the manager was frustrated when she gave me three packets of hot sauce and said "you have extra packets" when I asked for more...but they were busy as fuck. The service was overall solid given the circumstances.

INCOMING OPINION

The smothered burrito tasted like something out of a can. Not terrible, but clearly a facsimile of the real thing when I can buy an awesome burrito for that same price at several restaurants around here. The shredded chicken is awesome in the regular chicken burrito though. Around here they had been putting the cantina chicken in them for awhile, and sometimes you just don't want lime flavor. And they're more my taco bell price point.

What pisses me is off is that the chicken quesadilla costs more money but they hardly put shit in it anymore.

5 years ago, I could get a Grilled Stuft Burrito (the original, not the super shitty XL), a chicken quesadilla, and a XL Baja Blast for exactly $7.77. Now they charge way more money and provide less food. The smothered burrito is a surprising return to the good old days of Taco Bell.
