Basically slept and ate all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Got on the scale this morning a little worried. Lost 2 lbs since I weighed in on Friday.

Last night was first night of tryouts for A Christmas Story: The Musical.

Trying out for the part of The Old Man. I did well, but there's some talent in this town and I might be a little too old, too.

Behance must have algorithms in place that value recent likes over older likes.

Dribbble is a very exclusive website compared to Behance. On Dribbble you have to be invited by a designer on there in order to upload work. At least, I believe that's how they still do things.

Most of my work I wouldn't consider to be Dribbble quality but I'm working towards that point. And Behance is filled with a lot of shitty work but the good stuff almost always rises to the top.

And I've never been on Forrst. I think it might've been bought out by another company.

edit: Went ahead and setup an account on Dribbble. Looks like you have to be invited by multiple designers of note in order to be considered a "pro" or whatever. I can still upload work but it won't be seen by hardly any people if I'm not "pro" status.

Stepped on a shard of glass Monday (long story), hurt like a bitch but I took it out and all was good. Well, until the next day, when I stepped on my foot the wrong way and the same kind of pain came shooting back -- meaning there was still a piece of that shit in my foot. $:-\$ Took a look that night but couldn't find it, so said fuck it. Everything was good until the walk home today, when early on I removed my shoe to get a pebble out, and in the process triggered a mild form of the shooting glass pain. Thus I was reduced to limping and avoiding stepping on my left heel for the remaining 40 minute walk (was already out of T distance.)

It's weird cause Wednesday and Thursday I was stomping around all over Boston without a care in the world and there wasn't any pain. It needed a specific angle for my heel to land on I suppose.

Finally today after some Frank Reynolds-style foot surgery with a steak knife, that second glass kernel is finally out.

Now I hope there's no more of those fuckers still in there.

It was fairly shallow as far as penetration goes (

Also I'd take an infection (that I recognize early on and treat immediately) over a fucking glass shard.

I've stepped on a rusty nail as a kid that when clean through my foot and I don't remember is causing my as much anxiety and stress as this 0.2mm (if that) piece of glass.
