I've been playing the hell out of Beatles: Rock Band since it arrived, mainly because my Rock Band 2 disc died early in September (jesus, it's been awhile) and I've been trying to work out how to fix it. I ordered a replacement through Play-Asia because it had a 5-15 day fulfillment estimate, HA! That was nearly three weeks ago.

As of this week, a friend in the USA sent me a copy of Lego Rock Band, and Play-Asia finally sent confirmation that RB2 shipped. Classic "when it rains, it pours" syndrome.

I really like the AFI track on RB; is all their stuff like that?

Not much of a delay since the last Nirvana and Foo Fighters DLC. GO GROHL!
The only sad part is knowing Lithium and Come as You Are won't be under the Nevermind album. Oh well. I can live with that.

Makes you wonder what songs are being saved up for RB3. SLTS isn't in the running anymore, but OBVIOUS Sister Christian just got a big vote for it.

Yeah, I suspect they could have included a flag for checking the console's Adult Content settings, then respected that with regard to DLC, but I also suspect that they're bending an ESRB rule at all to import T-Rated content into an E-rated game.

Yeah, wtf happened with Beatles. It was going to be the awesomest experience of the year and then it came out and was easy and simple and after 2 weeks no one ever played it again.

Eh, in September it was the CRAZE. Every store was playing Beatles music, everyone was listening to the albums again, Beatles were "in". 2 months later it's like 2008 and Beatles fans still listen to the albums and everyone else is back to listening to other stuff.

The Beatles: Rock Band doesn't have a ton of content, so I don't know why you'd expect people to still be playing it (well, I still do). And the DLC is a bit of a rip-off. Some of the dreamscapes are recycled; the new ones basically just add 2-D backgrounds.

The game isn't that easy. There are about ten pretty easy tracks, but even those are pretty fun to play. Besides, most people play on medium.
