For the record, when I said I was concerned about it, I meant in the "it's in the back of my mind and I think about it at times" sense, not the "I'm pulling my hair out because I need a girl now" sense.
It's only really an issue because I know that I'm not the type of guy who'd ever get married without dating for a minimum of 2-3 years. My mom always says, "oh, when you're older you know what you want and you don't have to date as long -- a year and a half tops" (including the engagement period); in my opinion, this is how couples end up divorced -- they simply can't get to know each other in such a short period of time. I'd never rush into something like marriage regardless of my love for my partner or my deepening paternal instincts -- it's a pragmatic issue imo. I turned 28 this past June, for the record.
