this forum is pretty tightknit and we pick on almost everyone at some point but it's in jest.  some people just can't take it.  we don't like seeing one of our own screwed over though.  If it had been the other way around, you'd see everyone acting the same way towards Ichi for Himuro.

I disagree that this community was anti-Himuro.  If anything, he turned a lot of the members against him with his behavior.  This community is relentless in tearing down stuff put on a pedestal; the Senior Members in particular love slaying sacred cows.  Himuro gets too attached to things he hypes and holds dear, and offers little substance in return.  Didn't matter who he was or where he was banned from, although nobody likes dating a broad who talks about her ex during the entire date.

Hopefully, he'll take a break and come back and apologize for blowing up and screwing Ichi out of his games.  He wants so badly to fit in at GAF, but he won't there either.

Himu listens to Radiohead. Himu plays RPGs fanatically. Himu loves anime. But Himu is an overweight african american male, and he just doesn't fit (no pun intended) in that world. The girls he goes after are definitely into the things he likes - they just aren't attracted to Himu's physical and mental characteristics. Himu has dealt with rejection all his life by using the internet as a means to connect with link minded people; for it is on the internet that Himu can be an ordinary nerd and not face the consequences of his color. I think he has a great opportunity to be accepted at EB if only he would pay Ichi back. If he can afford to buy GTAIV on day one, he can afford to pay for Ichi's stuff. If he were to do this I'd accept him with open, loving arms

I've been away from EB for a while, I've been getting home late from work every night, and just saw this thread after getting a PM.

I mailed out Ichi's box on Saturday morning after he emailed me, the post office said it would take 6-10 days to get to him. It better get there for $63. I threw in my own copy of the out of print Criterion Collection version of Notorious for Ichi, since he didn't already have it based on that Criterion thread we had back in the Fall. I felt I needed to put something else in the box after taking forever. I saw a copy on ebay going for $95, so I figured it was worthy of going in the box.

I'm a giant douche, I just kept putting it off after running into difficulties mailing it earlier on. I deserve to be banned for being such a lazy jerk about the whole thing, and all the awesome stuff Ichi sent me back in the Fall. I honestly wasn't planning on ripping you off, I just forgot after getting so frustrated with the mailing crap I encountered previously. But, that's no excuse for my gigantic douchebaggery.

To be honest, I kind of like them both for their unique "qualities".  It may be weird, but I like the different personalities of this board.  yeah yeah I know it's the internet and people should lighten up, but it goes both ways - people shouldn't take things too personally when someone messes with them, but people shouldn't constantly gang up and chastise individuals either.  I love everyone on this board (even those that irritate me).  Trash talking is one thing, but the treatment PD and Himu (among a few others) get around here can get a bit excessive...even if it may be called for at certain times.
