He actually says, "we are on Ps3!"
Ugh, that just puts me off the whole thing. Killing the immersion totally.
Is that any different than Metal Gear, where Big Boss tells you to turn off the MSX?
Or the NES port, where Konami calls you and tells you to turn off the NES?
Or Metal Gear 2, where Campbell tells you to think like a game designer when going through rooms?
Or the part in Metal Gear 2 where the secret formula is hidden on THE LEGENDARY MSX COMPUTER DISK, and Kio Marv's name is hidden as, "01K VRAM" in the menu?
Or the part in MGS1 where Master Miller tells you to stop playing or you'll hurt your eyes, or to think like a game designer, or to go to the bathroom before a long cutscene?
Or Meryl's Codec number being on the back of the CD case?
Or Ocelot saying to not use auto-fire, or any of the other times where they tell you about buttons?
Or Mantis reading your memory card, or telling you to put your DualShock on the floor?
Or any of the crazy meta-shit in MGS2?
It's really not new ground for the series.
