read the manga, while the latest anime episodes were cool like you said (wind rasengan, shikimaru..etc...) they have entered another filler which is absurd.

the one thing i hate about naruto shippuden manga is how 3/4 of it is about fucking sasuke, ridiculous.

Oh God, I just watched MD Geist and its sequel. Urgh, it feels like someone just punched me in the brain.

I mean, the first movie was made by some first-timers during the middle of the 80's, so I can kind of forgive it; although it's still quiet bad. But, MD Geist 2, my God. Everything is worse in the sequel. The animation is worse [lots of scenes or just still images that shake slightly, including one bizarre scene between Krauser and the chick from the first movie], the voice acting is worse [one of the worst dubs ever], the writing is worse [lots of scenes of just talking and talking about stupid stuff], and it actually makes even less sense.

But do you know what just absolutely kills me about MD Geist 2? CPM coughed up the money to have it made TEN YEARS after the first movie!! Ten years later and they made something that was worse in every respect?! It just boggles my mind.

Michiko To Hachin #11 finally came out, wrapping up the little circus arc nicely. That's pretty much all I'm really watching, although I have a ton of older stuff to go through.

Do you mean DVD rips? The VHS tapes were ripped and fansubbed quite some time ago; I have all 26 episodes but the quality is awful.

I liked Dirty Pair, back in the day. The original series, not the money-grubbing remake. I'll have to scope out the DVDs or fansubs.

Finally rented Detroit Metal City and laughed my ass off for the first three episodes. "Say something in French..." Heh.

Why have they never released the original Dirty Pair TV series in the US? Is there an actual reason, or just lack of interest? You'd think with all the crap that gets brought over (not to mention the DP OVAs, Movies, and Flash) that someone would have picked up the original series.

Gundam 00 Season 2 is turning out to be a disappointment currently. I don't think Sunrise knows how to make good sequels.

Been watching Michiko To Hacchin. It kinda reminds me of Cowboy Bebop.

I have the first few eps of Titania but I kinda haven't really watched much. What I have watched really gives me a LOGH vibe but...that's expected given the director.

Hajime no Ippo is another thing I'm watching. Good stuff.

Finally, I'm still watching Turn A Gundam

Black Lagoon was the last cool anime I watched, and I blew through both seasons in less than a week. I was going to watch G Gundam this week, but the place I ordered Collection I from is still backordered, so I'm stuck looking at the Collection II box.

And I'm still plugging away at Xam'd and Soul Eater.

Just finished rewatching Witch Hunter Robin, last time I saw it was when it came on Adult Swim a few years ago. It's a lot better than I remember.

Also watching some Hyakko, which is probably the best high school anime I've seen seen Azumanga Daioh.

Trying to get back into LOGH. I started watching it, but got distracted by some other stuff. Sorry.

Still trying to finish Bubblegum Crisis. The first four episodes were really good, but it took a nosedive with episodes 5 and 6 where everything got really melodramatic and just really mediocre overall. Episode 7 is looking up, though.

Ippo - okay, but I spoiled myself by reading through the manga

Gundam 00 S2 - its going nowhere
Soul Eater - pretty decent

Ippo New Challenger - All awesome except the music, which sounds like the cheap video game stuff and not the great music from the first series.
Xam'd - Enjoying it it for the most part, but the way it handles relationships can be nauseating at times.
