there is a bobblehead in the sherrif's house?

I did a bunch of the main quest stuff and it's surprising good. Both Morrowind and Oblivion had lame main stories.

I also hit lvl 20 and got the perk that shows me every location on the map. It's crazy how many places there are.

Man, im like the Anti-TVC. I walked up to the Slave Traders today and told them what I thought of slavery. They told me to quit preaching, and I told them that my gun would do the preaching, and I killed every fucker in there and let the slaves free. I got good karma comin outta my ass. Random Megaton Settlers are always giving me free ammo, and the stupid teenage girl in big town gives me what she finds while shes out in the wastes for free. Plus the doctor in bigtown fixes me up and heals my radiation free o charge. So awesome. I am ultimate hero!

(Also, the slave leader has an awesome pimp suit and pimp hat that boosts small guns and he has a speech bobblehead. My speech is 85+ :-0)

Oh and I got an awesome POWER FIST that looks awesome, they also had POWER SLEDGEs but god damn that shits heavy and my character is not up in the STRRRRRR dept

I'm playing more like you, just a bit more of a pacifist. I would try to talk out a situation before killing people. The one person I killed out of annoyance was Tenpenny and now I can't finish that Tenpenny Tower mission without getting a lot of Negative Karma since the racist security guy is now in charge. Maybe if I kill him things might get better.

Paradise Falls is west of Germantown Police Station, which is north of Big Town which is a ways north from megaton.

If you talk to the guy at the beginning of Paradise Falls, he gives you a gun that turns people into mindless tards. You use it to capture them as slaves. You put a necklace on them and then you can be like OH SHIT U GOT A BOMB ON YER NECK BETTER RUN BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH and they're like "oh dear!"

My first side quest was going to the supermarket to find supplies for the shop keeper in Megaton (forgot her name). Dude...it was fricking awesome. I still cannot get myself to venture out during nighttime.

I loved it when the guys came back to the supermarket and started talking on the PA. I thought I was safe when I wasted everyone in there, then they came back, but I was right next to the robot, which I activated. I was like "haha! this robot is gonna kill all of them for me" then I heard the robot die like 5 seconds later.

That part is pretty awesome.

my first time through with my now abandoned character, i fought my way into the super market, fought my way to the robot, activated it and then it wrecked havoc and i got to just clean up the mess.

the second time, some ghouls took out the outside people and set up camp there, so i didn't have to fight anyone to get inside. inside i made a beeline for the robot, activated it, then watched it die almost immediately. tragedy

When I was saving people from the Super Mutants in Germantown Police station I accidently set off the alarm through the whole station lol. Thankfully I didnt see anyone come to check it out.

I unleashed the robot and then saw it fighting some dude, so I was standing behind it cheering GO ROBOT and all of a sudden it spins 180 and goes "LAWFUL USE OF DEADLY FORCE IN PROGRESS" and started shooting lasers at me, haha. I was running for my life with all the lasers whizzing past my head

So is there any reason to keep the sheriff of megaton alive?

I pick pocketed his card, went into his house and grabbed some stuff. Went into the armory, and stole all the weapons after taking down the robot. I declined the mission by Burke to blow up megaton, told the sheriff about it. He goes to arrest burke, and as he is walking away burke shoots him in the back taking him out. Then the sonofabitch threatens me, so I take out my assault rifle, shoot him in the head, and his head pops off body falling limp right on top of the dead sheriffs body. The sheriffs kid comes in after and says to remind him to give me my reward after I disarm the bomb in megaton.

The game autosaved before I went to the bar where the action went down. There is a small window where I could take out burke before he takes out the sheriff. Is there any reason to do so?

The Chinese assault rifle the sheriff has looks awesome to use, I don't want to give it away unless I have reason to do so!

Go directly to the diner near the Jury Street Metro Station (head west out of Megaton) and you can get your hands on the Xuanlong assault rifle which is much better than your average Chinese version. The rifle is on the corpse behind the counter.

I went out and got all the one of a kind super weapons, I already had the armor, and since I'm lvl 20 I can't level up anymore. I'm pretty much at the peak of how powerful I will end up being. I still haven't explored any of the north west part of the map and only touched on the north east, but the entire south area are pretty much locked down.

You build it. I can't tell you where I found the schematics though. You should be able to buy it from a vendor, one of the traveling ones.

I just make sure to explore a lot so I can fast travel via the pipboy 3000's map. I dont sneak much. Just pay attention to your compass and hit them at range with your hunter rifles etc and then sawed off shotgun/scoped magnum if they get close/mid-range

Do the "Free the Children" quest and you will save yourself a ton of time in the main quest
