After playing both demos, I decided to just get the PC version.

X360 version is fun for what it is, but it seems a bit limited compared to the PC version.

Well, yeah. I meant games like racing games, Gears, and that stuff. You can't even use the 180 spin in the PC game because they knew no one would be dumb enough to use a controller with the PC version.

yes, i have the pc demo. i'll message you tonight if you're online.

running it maxed out @ 1920x1200, outside it probably dips in framerate, but not much. indoors it's 60fps+ with vysnc on. runs like butter. 360 version looked terrible after playing it on the pc.

i run everything maxed out at 1366x768 on my old amd 64x2 3800+ and it is smooth, like the butter

360 looks blurry and washed out in comparison, but i am still buying it for the split-screen lulz

imagine how gimped the ps3 version will be next year (you know it is coming)

Getting the 360 version for sure, since most of my friends have Xboxen. Not sure if it'll play on my laptop. I have an AMD Turion X2 2.1Ghz, 4GB RAM HP Pavilion w/ ATi 3200 IGP. It runs TF2 on medium settings pretty smoothly, though.

Several times its tongue actually burst through two layers of windows in the subway cars, or busted a hole right through a wooden door to grab me.

It's not about buying the version with the most longevity, which is obviously the PC version - its about getting the version with the most friends you can play with! For me, it's easily the 360 version. Like TF2, I will end up picking up the PC version too for longevity. But - hell! - I still got friends and my brother who play TF2 on XBL.

I really don't want to buy a game that i will have fun with only when my friends are on, which considering the hours i keep is not likely to be often. I've preferred Quick Matches on XBL to the PC, as PC folks tend to not talk at all unless you're playing with a party you know. I've just preferred the socializing, for once, on the Xboxen. The longevity you get out of the PC is a no brainer, though.
