Daxter, I am double-dutch done with you. The last boss had a grid of double-jump distanced platforms, but used a boss-targeted-camera which constantly rotated out of perpendicular alignment with the grid I was attempting to navigate. I gave it a dozen tries, then realized it's time to move on. Daxter was plenty of fun until that boss. More fun than
Jak2, for sure.
I went back to
GTA: Liberty City Stories on PSP, which I started in 2008 according to the save file. !!! I'd lent it to a co-worker, who had it for probably two years, during which time I started and completed
GTA: Vice City Stories. LCS is fun, and my nostalgia is still strong for the first iteration of Liberty City, but I'm tempted to re-play this on PS2 to get the superior frame-rate and camera controls.
pretty sound reasoning.
I think the games are great but a few people here will say otherwise. I really like the art and the high school stuff. Other people say its weeaboo crap. Whatever, really. The game is sweet and thats all that matters to me.
Speaking of nostalgia... I will probably pick up a
Persona whenever I move back to the USA, once nostalgia has me in its grip. I've already got enough of Japan in my day-to-day life, even without pretending to be a J-highschooler. I tend to enjoy Japanese media more when I'm not living here.
