Put some time into FF4, turned into Paladin.

- Some sprites are straight uggo (Paladin Cecil is like a gay power ranger)
- Love the overall new look (not exactly new since its just like 1 & 2)
- Difficulty is cheese
- Encoutner rate is through the roof
- You can change the music between the "new" tunes or the OG tunes

So... in the end I might still prefer GBA version. This is still worth replaying though, I love this game so much.

Meh. There's roughly a 20 Level jump between the endboss and the postgame content in Pokemon White.  :o

One minute I'm killing the endboss at Level 35-40, next moment I am supposed to catch a Level 70 legendary fire bug monster thing and battle Level 50+ Pokemon Trainers milling about in the now unlocked areas. The hell is up with that.

Gonna ninja-sneak through that shit and come back later when I actually stand a chance at winning without risking the relentless slaughter of my entire party every time the CPU farts.

After two tries I finally got that superbug though. At the last possible turn, to boot. Limped away with my one remaining, badly mauled Pokemon. You can't just expect me to turn tail and walk away if they drop that thing in my lap after a smallish dungeon. Coming back later? Pshaw. I vastly preferred draining my entire stock of consumables just to show the game who's boss around these parts.

Because I am. Like, totally.

Sounds pretty awesome to me. Sorry you like penis.
I enjoyed Splatterhouse quite a bit more than the AAA games that came out last year. Shame we'll probably never get a sequel. Who thought ripping an enemy's spinal cord out through his asshole would be so satisfying  :o

Roughly 40

Focus on using magic instead of attacking. I mostly use Fire (Stocke) / G-Fire (Raynie) / Traps (Aht)

If you have the Star Traps from the Master that helps tremendously

mmm then i guess i am somewhat underleveled at level 33 (stocke at level 36)
but as i said my problem isn't dealing damage,my problem is surviving! does marco ever learns a decent area heal spell? that would help a lot

Grinding is super easy man. Set up those traps with Aht then have Raynie and Stocke knock them around.

Even then, levels dont help much imo, equipment does more impact. Equip like 3 Rook Charms that give +6 DEF/MDF, etc.

999 is good, and it has a decent resolution, but GAF kinda oversells it with the OMG WHEN I SAW THE FINAL ENDING MY BRAIN EXPLODED LIKE THAT SCENE FROM SCANNERS!!!

999 story is lame because it rips off of its spiritual predecessor, Ever 17. Playing it was like experiencing this great build up until near the true end where you begin to suspect you've seen this all done before and done better and the final disappointment when you realize that your fears had come true.

Big F U to whoever it was here that told me Dragon Age: Origins isn't single player WoW. I held back on making this post until I invested a good amount of time into it, but yeah, crapfest confirmed.

Can you give away Steam games? Serious question

i haven't played ever 17 (and i doubt many people played some obscure visual novel) but from what i read on wikipedia the plot did sounds similiar....

i think i've read somewhere that the author is doing another game and it still features a similiar concept

anyway i think i'm getting near the end of alternate history,do the history converge into the ending or does the game feature 2 endings? i'm missing a lot of skill manuals and i only have 170 event out of 250 so something is amiss....

I've been cornholing Etrian Odyssey 3 pretty hard. Since I subbed in a Princess the game is so crazy easy with all the free HP regen. Party basically gets fully healed between fights, which makes it real easy to survive long dungeon forays. Game is fucking sweet, best in the series.

Batman Arkham Asylum trashing people mode

I really hope Arkham City has a mode that is just an infinite wave of scrub enemies.  Getting into a groove of the combat is so good, and then the round ends, or an asshole with a knife or stun or titan ruins your fun.  Non-stop scrub enemies.  I'll buy it as DLC too.

then later on you fight another spider
then after that there is an optional fight with another spider

Hot Pursuit is hot stuff. Love the sense of speed and the way the whole thing looks, seems tailored made to just have a total blast with. Which is what I'm having so far. Smashing cars up in Pursuit mode is like Burnout 3 all over again and even the regular races [without the threat of cops trying to take you out] are fun, thanks to that sense of speed and all the tight corners and shortcuts.

The only real complaint I have is that some of the collisions feel kind of stiff, not quite as fluid [or however you want to put it] like they were in Burnout games. Lack of real damage models for some of the cars is disappointing as well, but not a big deal. It runs pretty good on my machine, although there are some odd hiccups here and there where the framerate dips [might have something to do with the way the world is streamed].

One of my friends is utterly pissed at EA for NFS: Hot Pursuit. EA wants him to register for an EA.com account, he won't. EA wants him to connect his Twitter and Facebook accounts; he won't. But the game will check the server after every race and then ask him if he's REALLY REALLY SURE he doesn't want to connect all his social accounts. I think he's doing something wrong, because even EA wouldn't make a lave/load flow that's THIS intrusive.

I find the EA Download Manager to be slower than other clients like STEAM, too.  And I'm now on my FOURTH Dragon-Age reinstall, because all of the fucking Ultimate Edition DLC content will not be recognized, and trying to update the game as Bioware recommends has screwed the game up to the point that it won't run and I have to download it again.  I'm half-tempted to just buy it again off STEAM, seriously.   :-\

Everybody wants to be Steam, unfortunately most fail at it quite badly [GFWL, EA Online].

I haven't had any problems with Stardock Impulse, it just lacks some of the bells and whistles that make Steam a far superior content provider.
