Despite having the copy in my hands for a week, today was the first day I popped in Samurai Warriors 2.  There had to have been about a month or more between finishing DW Gundam and this.  The 360 hasn't been on since then.  Surprisingly, it booted the disc up.

I noticed a lot of terrain pattern changes between the first and the second.  Reviewers got it wrong yet again.  The downside is the bloom lighting is insane.  I'm hoping it is just the maps I've played and the majority of them will be clearer.  Also the mission structures seem a little different than the first.  A lot more action going on but in smaller levels.

Hmmm, is this your first Smash game by any chance?

Just played some Saints Row co-op with Chronovore. Good shit

Yeah, that was a lot of fun. Maero's a fucking pushover with two Saints at once; he's Lucky Pierre. Thanks for the big assist on co-op Brotherhood completion.

We also got in that Mercs 2 play, but because it was such a bug-riddled experience that it has already been half-blocked from my memory. What a frustrating, half-assed game. :lol

Smash is pretty good if you give it some time and have any friends at all to play local vs. with.  The adventure mode sucks though.  I never liked any of the smash games before but I really enjoyed the Wii one with a friend or two or three.

Better to just put in Melee.

Went through Dreamfall for about the 6th time now.  The gameplay may be non-existant but I'll be damned if that isn't easliy one of the best stories ever in any videogame.  Nothing comes close.

Dreamfall Chronicals better hurry the hell up.

I'm fucking manning up and spending tomorrow playing Persona 4 and hopefully just finish the fucking thing already. Then I'm going to buy Muramasa on Tuesday.

Also, is Fat Princess worth buying? I'm thinking about getting it just 'cause. That and Shadow Complex.

Wavedashing is overated.  Brawl is a mediocre 1vs1 game mostly because the hitstun required for effective punishment isn't there.  It gets gay fast once someone starts planking or air-stalling.  Its great for friendlies, ffa, or team battle though.  Probably the first Smash where I played with items and found some sets that are pretty fun.  <3 Super Mushrooms and Soccer Balls.

trading in Uncharted today, along with copies of Baldur's Gate 2 PS2 and Godzilla PS2 that I got at Blockbuster for $6 (they trade for $20 together.)

Can't decide if I should just put the money towards NGS2 or pick up Persona 4 again.  I still like that game a lot, the only reason I quit is because it's loooooooong.

but I'm also on a playthrough of FFX.  though persona 4 > FFX.

Still Blood will tell on my PS2, god this game is awesome. Plus started Loco Roco (the music is insane, started singing during some of the levels :D) and Jeanne D'Arc which has pretty basic gameplay for a SRPG but thats fine with me. Graphics are impressive and Cartoon(or Anime) cutscenes are just so damn pretty, wonder why not all (or atleast more) JRPG do this(fuck ingame). And its always fun to beat up tommies  ;) (Wonder how much the game sold in the UK btw). Oh and SMT 2 via SNES emulator, cool to see how the series started though the dungeons are pretty confusing.

Blue Dragon-Still playing.

Dragon Quest Caravan Heart- Pretty fun. I like the Suikoden aspect of gathering members to build up your camp, and I also really like the ration system as it adds an almost "rogue-like" element to the traditional turnbase gameplay.

Metroid: Zero Mission- Shadow Complex made me want to start this up again. Already up to Mother Brain but have forgotten the trick on how to beat her.

Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance- Flawed and unbalanced as hell, but I do get some guilty pleasure out of playing this. What's the point of building up hearts in this game when your subweapon+magic uses up the rechargeable magic bar instead?

Been playing Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. I didn't really care for the first game, but I'm liking the sequel, it's basically just one big set-piece after another. It's like if Wild Gunman was remade in HD with a story-mode and swearing.

haha, I played it for the first time in a while tonight too.  Studied all fucking day and most of the night (irl) and was all excited to *play* a game and instead went through about 2 hours in game to "find out" if Rise would be the next to go into the TV.  Jeez.  I like the dungeons, but the story shit takes forever.

:lol Hate that. I kind of liked the story parts, though. If you're actually playing the game on a somewhat regular basis (as we're obviously not right now), the story sections can break up the repetition of the dungeon crawling.

It's just frustrating when you realize what's happening rather quickly, but an hour later, one of them is like "hmmmm....I think, maybe, possibly that Rise might be next" and then there's another hour of exposition to figure it out. :lol

I've been playing Infamous for the past two or so days, and really enjoying it.  I just beat it on evil, at a friend's request, but the more I looked at it, I felt bad ass playing as evil, but good had more of the abilities I wanted.  Not to mention, I'm just so used to playing as good.  I really prefer it.  So now I'm going back and i'm going to try playing through as good.  I'm not usually one for playing through something twice unless it's for DEM CHIEVEMENTS, but this game was fun enough that I think I will be able to enjoy it, especially since it should be retardedly easy to stay good with some of these upgrades.

Jesus Christ, I've been playing so much Monster Hunter (Freedom Unite). I'm still HR1 because I've been avoiding certain guild missions, but I just beat Khezu and I'm on to the third block of town elder quests. I've completed a set of Vespoid Armor and now I'm working on Makluva and Cephalos armor sets here and there.
