I loved the art in the cinematic trailer. Too bad the game doesn't use the same art style

what was the deal with the weird note color combination when they showed the game? the one on the far left has the color notes all mixed matched.

You should be able to. You could make playlists in RB2.

Are those all in the $250 set?

I have a sealed copy of RB2 somewhere. LOL should play it.

Sadly no, the Rickenbacker 325 guitar and the Gretsch Duo Jet guitar are sold separately-- for $100 a piece. I will take a pass.

Since the Beatles stopped touring in '66, Harmonix has to be a little creative--they just can't put the Beatles in random stadiums. They can create some interesting venues for "LitSD," "Strawberry Fields," and a "Day in the Life"

"Don't Let Me Down" seems like a given because the rooftop venue is in the game. And "Hey Bull Dog" should be in the game because of its awesome bassline.

I prefer the Naked version of Let It Be, but a lot of that has to do with sound quality (and Don't Let Me Down) and I'm expecting the remastered original to possibly change my mind.  The only substantially improved track on Naked is Across the Universe.

Phil Spector really fucked up Across the Universe. You're right, the Naked version sounds miles better.

If the recording breathes a little better, yeah.  For me, it's difficult to abide Spector's flattening of everything.

But I'm resigned to buying the Mono and Stereo remasters of all versions of anything they release.

I don't mind this either, if it's true. Is it supposition, or something you've seen posted in previews, or what?

However, I think I'll top out at 800 pts. for an album. 1200 - 1600 for DLC; that's going to be a deal killer except for a couple select items, especially if I can't play them in RB2 as well.

They didn't shoot themselves in the foot, lord no, but they probably could've dropped the Rock Band moniker, knowing that having The Beatles in the title is an even better selling point than "Rock Band."

Maybe something like "The Beatles: A Videogame Experience" or something like that.
