I saw a lot of ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars with their sirens/lights on today. Whether the emergencies were PS3 slim related or not, I can't say. I assumed someone got maimed today trying to snag this shit hot new item.

Pretty much nothing, imo. Blu-ray is nice, but it's not VHS > DVD. But Casino Royale, the Departed, and The Dark Knight are three that stood out to me (I haven't seen that many blu-ray movies.)

I was watching some of that on Discovery Channel recently. It looked crazy even in SD. The slow motion shark attacks were awesome.

If you were a profit-seeking business and your 'poor value' product still outsold the competition in every region worldwide... you get the idea, I think I'll spare you that sales talk. The 360 is within spitting distance of the Wii figures. WSR and MH3 hasn't significantly raised the consoles sold either so if the yoy drops continue after wii fit+ and nsmb wii are released I'm expecting a stingy $50 drop.

Pretty slick looking compared to the fatty. Damn silent too. Picked up Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank but I haven't played them yet because Wipedout HD fucking rocks socks. Jesus is this game beautiful

I got mine last week and finished MGS4: Cutscenes of the Patriots. I'm just starting Valkyria Chronicles and its already my favorite strategy RPG ever.

Have you played a lot of SRPGs? I enjoyed Final Fantasy Tactics on PS1, so much that I bought it again on PSP. However games like Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis are too complex in their battles, and too wordy in their stories and high character count.

I'm thinking about grabbing Valkyria Chronicles if I grab a PS3, but am not sure.

Total customer satisfaction, basically. They put limits on it after people started exchanging TVs for newer models every year, but it still applies to video game systems. They even refunded the shipping cost.

As for the system itself, I actually said as much to the wife when I picked up the new one, that aside from a few great exclusives, it really is more about having a good media system than a gaming system. Between this and the 360, things are good. And the slim is damned slick.

The damned Wii, though, it has to go. I have no idea why I bought another one.
