Looks=cheap Chinese knock-off,wonder how internals look.
Also need to buy some overpriced piece of plastic to stand it vertically=fail.

Idiots are going to put it vertically without it and when falls down it will be but but but my old PS3 was always vertical .

You would think. The PS3 is now only $50 more than the Wii while being infinitely more functional, and the 360 has been priced competetively compared to the Wii for awhile now. Hopefully the fad has died and people move onto the real consoles

I think the smaller size is nice and the price is ok, though it'd need to be $200-250 to light up any charts. Lack of BC sucks but was 100% expected.

I'll stick with my launch unit thanks.

Those two games will keep HW sales healthy for a long while.

Why would either of those games appeal to anyone who didn't already get the originals? Its like ODST, its not a hardware mover. Resort is already out and hardware sales are lower than ever. We'll see what holiday family funtime does.

Also wtf is willco talking about re: no games. Ps3 has far and away the best lineup this year.

Yeah, you've got a point. But I still expect good sales.

I guess Nintendo will try to sell Motion+ and Vitality sensors now. I don't know if you need a new board for WiiFit+
All those Wii peripherals are getting pathetic, really.

And people shouldn't complain about Ps3 games or the lack of it. Ps3 is getting basically the same games as the X360.

HD sales have been largely inconsequential to wii sales outside of japan, even with microsoft's and sony's huge price breaks.

Because after a month or so of somewhat boosted sales Sony will drop the price of the GO and do a big thing about it being such a great value at an all new low price.

Dual Shock controllers don't do that AFAIK. I haven't had the problem with mine, I had it a lot with the regular Sixaxis though.

You just have to connect the controller to the Ps3 via an usb cable to solve that problem...

Haven't had that problem in a long while. I'm not sure which firmware fixed it; or maybe it was the rumble controller. Either way, I don't blame you for giving up. Nothing says precision control like spinning 360 degrees because the controller cuts out.

That was fixed long ago.

some claimed the fix came from the last batch of sixaxis controllers that were produced but it was mostly when the Dualshock 3 came out

Software bc is rumored to come to all ps3's via a patch.

It's also rumored that Sony will sell ps2 games on psn and just say screw it to disc based bc.
