and yeah the steam link does what it does just fine, for that price you have nothing to lose. I think i might have whined about the quality itt at one point because it suddenly jumped from decent picture quality and a playable amount of input delay to sand quality video and unplayable stutter. turned out the tab on the CAT5 cable connector had snapped off and my cat jostled it loose, popped it back in and everything was gravy

oh son of a fucking bitch. i feel like an extra idiot now. i drunkenly transferred the paypal balance from my R6S refund to steam in anticipation of the summer sale since that plus the steam balance i had from slinging cards would cover the complete edition, because why not? and now i am realizing why not

I picked up into the breach, tyranny + dlc, and heat signature for about $40 total.

Really didn’t need any of them, but I had $80 in steam credits on my account that I got for 20% off.

Q: What’s included in the Steam version of Killer Instinct?

A: Killer Instinct on Steam includes all seasons of KI – all 29 characters (including the newly released Eagle, plus Kilgore and Shin-Hisako remix characters), all 20 stages, all costumes, all colors, and all modes.

Speaking of indie shmups, it made me look up the devs that did Jamestown and they haven't released anything since? Been a while...Jamestown was 2011

I looked them up, Final Form Games, and their last blog entry was from 2012

And, for those of you who’ve been wondering: we are still at it. As we prepare to move to a new office, we’re happy to announce that we are in the very first, super-early, gestational and unpredictable stages of planning for our second game. Game 2! It’s an exciting time.

That said, Game 2 (codename: A Zound of Zanzibars) is going to be a bit of a mystery for a while. We’ll be quite busy performing our experiments and throwing everything away several times and going on spirit journeys and meditating under waterfalls and so forth.

But the day’s gonna come. We’ll keep you posted.

Uhhh, did they die or something wtf

They did an up-port to PS4 in 2015, Jamestown+.

It's just two brothers and the music guy. The "fourth guy" moved into academia a while ago I think. Both brothers have posted on twitter in the last couple months. Generally about other people's games. The one has a whole bunch of anti-alt-right/Trump tweets from 2017. Ironically, or perhaps because of, he also spent six plus years working on the America's Army games.

Here's an interview from 2016 that touches on the historical themes/imagery of Jamestown: https://caneandrinse.com/an-interview-with-final-form-games/

Picked up:

Torment Tides of Numera
Shadowrun Honk Kong Extended Edition
Deus Ex Mankind Divided
Resident Evil 4 (sure I mean why not)
Half Life 2 and HL2 Episode 2 (needed another couple bucks worth of rando shit to get the $30 paypal deal and tbh had only ever played the 360 version :doge )

Between the $5 off for $30 paypal deal, the funds I had lying around in my steam wallet from selling dumb imaginary cards to nerds and a few extra bucks in my paypal account I paid just over $20 of real money. THANK YOU BASED GABEN.

I have sold maybe $800 dollars of humble keys on g2a over the years. It does work, and sometimes you can make some money off of a bundle if you sit on it for a while (humble monthly especially).

But g2a is absolutely a shady company, and will sometimes flag you as fraud for no apparent reason and make you jump through a lot of hoops to get your money/keys unlocked for selling.

I have never tried to actually take money out of g2a and always just rolled it back into other games I would rather have.

My first impression...,
so far there is no Llama endboss, a llama endboss would be great for the future. 'Spoiler' Llama DLC !!!

In the first part of the game I wasted about 8000 hours of my life and 3 laptops and here I will easily waste 16000 hours and a pc with which you could certainly farm bitcoins well.

For the second part of the game itself, the game was free for me, because I'm a nice boy who likes to press repeatedly on buttons. Whether the game is worth $ 30 or not will become apparent over time, but I've played much more expensive early access games that have not been worth it.

I find the opening of the game until now quite interesting and I am confident that it is still cutting in the future.
Quote
People ♥♥♥♥♥ about the 30$ the game costs. The advantage is that the developeres can actually balance the game properly instead of adding artificial barriers where you would have to p2w usually.

I rather pay 30$ and have a well balanced game than a p2w mill.
Quote
If you want leaderboards that are semi fair and add to competition of the game then deal with the $30 dollar price tag its what all clicker/idle games lack(leaderboards planned not implemented yet).I do not see a real reason not to buy this game as they did have a refund for a full year after release policy on their main site that doesnt seem to be there anymore, unless $30 bucks is life changing money to you.I personally have already got the $30 dollar value out of it and its day 2 after beta release :).
Quote
The biggest difference I felt in this game compared to number 1 is how fun and engaging clicking is. It feels powerful and feels a lot more rewarding versus leveling a hero and letting them do all the work.

Quote
Drive big trucks faster than ordinary cars, and be careful, coz you are not alone on the road.

truck medels you'd never expect to see in a racing game: garbage truck, liquid manure truck, concrete mixer truck to name just a few.

But all that couldn't be contained, so they needed a sequel: https://store.steampowered.com/app/392890/Trucker_2/
However they had to give it to another developer who succeeded in making a game that actually launched, not staying true to the first Trucker game based on the reviews which suggest the first game just gets stuck in an endless installer loop.

The original developer was working on a major sequel of their own: https://store.steampowered.com/app/546820/Pony_World_2/
Quote
A sequel to the very successful Pony World now in 3D. Improved gameplay, cartoony graphics and a whole new Pony Town to explore, live in and form relationships.

Create your own pony
In Pony World 2 you create your own dream pony from scratch and help develop his character, education, career and make friends. Choose its looks and clothing, then change them at the stylist whenever you want. Take care of your pony to keep it happy and healthy, the game enables new level of interaction with your pupil – hug your pony when it is sad or play together and learn new tricks.

Your farm is your home
Make your pony’s farm his dream place to live. Build it and expand to look best in the neighborhood. Decorate it and plant new plants to acquire higher status. Sell products from your farm to earn money for food, gifts and toys.

Pony Town full of joy
Pony Town has all facilities needed by your pony to spend playful time, develop its career and education and care for its looks and health. Visit stylists and beauty salons to become the most pretty and stylish pony. Attend school and then find a great job. Socialize with other ponies, play with them and meet your beloved one.
