-Champions
-Q3A mode being LTTP
-Rentals
-No full purchase
-Beth client instead of Steam

Sink it. I doubt it's going to get people once they drop that $30 Steam tax.

I got Quake Live (for free since I had it still installed when it went pay-for so I keep it forever for free.

) and Q3A/TA and earlier entries in the series to hold me.

Taking your library around the house. People do it with Remote Play on PS3/4 and do it with the Steam Link device already. This is just cutting that hardware middleman in a sense.

Torment is on sale for 60% off this weekend ($18) is it worth it at that price or nah? I'm slogging through Pillars 1 currently, and also have Tyranny and Divinity 2 unplayed in my steam library so not gonna play it anytime soon but if it's worth it at that price I guess I'll buy it.

I really liked Torment. It's less focus on combat and exploration than some of those others, but it's got a pretty good story and lots of weird stuff to look at. Definitely worth $18.

Got to play ROM 2064 on my phone last night using the Steam Link app.

Using just the touch screen though, was nowhere near as fluid and responsive as the SCUMM app though. $:-\$ Not too much of a demanding game at all, so my wifi hung in decently. It was more the principality that made it awesome. Seems like Steam is a little late to the party with this though.
