All-important tip for La Mulana: Buy the translator from the village elder. You're gonna have to grind a bit of money to be able to afford it, but it's indispensable. You won't be able to read the hint tablets without it.

Was wondering that my self. Worst opinions seem to think it's mayble a little too traditional and grindy. Basically you really have to have been about that PS1 rpg life to get the most out of it.
