Fuck, day one. Going to sell my original RE5 copy now.

RE4 played great with waggle. Saggle would work out well, too.
So far Alternate Ending is Ps3 exclusive.

My main problem with this is that it's control scheme involves holding the DualShock in one hand and the wand in the other. How the hell is that ideal?

Call me crazy, but I actually tried to hold DS3 with one hand, just like in the picture.
It works surprisingly well. The DS3 isn't as bulky or heavy like the X360 controller.

The game will likely have a standard control scheme too, just like RE4 Wii Edition did.

RE5 had flashback scenes where you went through a Mansion to get Wesker. I'm guessing they let you play through that area now.

They will probably make a new Wii RE spin off game eventually (hopefully) that's in third person like RE4 but the controls in the RE4 Wii edition were definitely better than RE5's controls. I don't know how this dual shock/saggle thing will work but people say it's not that bad because the controller is so light.

It only matters if it come to PC. I was considering rebuying RE5 for PC when it dropped in price, but now, it's either this or never. Just judging from the benchmark, RE5 looks so much better on my computer than it did on the 360. 60+ fps 1080p maxed out

They took the encounter between Chris/Jill and Wesker and made another set of levels out of it. What do mean "never happened?" It set up what happened to Jill in RE5.

The environments and presumably enemy types will probably be new, too, so what is there to complain about?

Them re-releasing this with the Sony Saggle for full price next year is something to complain about, but we don't know if they are going to do that yet. It could end up "greatest hits" style and sell for $30. What I am hoping for is that the 360 version gets the new stuff as DLC instead. The quote "So we are working to release the additional content in another format, as a product" gives me hope.

This thing is too late. Wii sales are tapering, people don't care about motion control as a concept, they cared about "getting that game with the 5 sports on it that we played at thanksgiving that one year and oh yeah, it played mario kart also." Who cares. I want to play all of my future RE games with motion controls. Definitely the best controls for such type of games. Dead space should get a patch, too.
