My sister likes
The Celebrity Apprentice. I saw the first three episodes with her in February, and then the most recent episode last night.
This show is a good way to realize that celebrities are just as messed up as the rest of us, if not more messed up. Except for Penn Gillette, who is like some kind of geek god. Dee Snider was surprisingly cool, but he fell on his sword while I was gone. Lou Ferrigno is a collection of neuroses held together by nervous twitches. They lost Adam Carrolla right after I left, apparently, and he was the funniest thing the show, with Trump's hair taking a distant second.
It's also great fun to watch Ivanka Trump's voice lessons pay off as she's annunciating her words. The woman has a mouth most facile.
Anyway, it has been strange to see how much less civil the discourse has become between everyone in the month I have been gone. Then again, since this is "reality TV," that balance could all be in the editing room.
