i'm still playing it, but all i've been doing these days is grinding because the boss on the current stage i'm on after going below 50% health pull off a bullshit attack that hits so hard that it instant-kill half of my party

i can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel at least

So, if I bought Chaos Rings 2 for iPad a while back, there's no getting it for free on my iPhone is there?

Also, I'm guessing I should just reroll the first 2 on Terra Battle until I get better than B?

Chaos Rings isnt universal

You will always get B for the initial characters. Its after you finish the first chapter / tutorial is when you roll at the Tavern using your energy.

They released a code that lets you get another roll, so you get two tries. If you dont get what you want, you have to delete the game and start over.

your first character will always be either grace or bahl, your second character should be a generic healer, but to celebrate the release of the game they upgraded it to kuscah which is the worst premium healer but still a huge upgrade over the shitty one i had to settle with, then a generic knight will join, then either a warrior will join if you got grace or an archer will join if you got bahl

after clearing chapter 1 (which is the tutorial) you get 5 energy and you can roll, if you put this code in the game dhth66nWXVCbjdTC you can get another 5 energy and roll again... character rank goes from B to SS, the chance to pull an SS is around 5%, here you can see a complete list of character

starting with one of the wizards (lewto,piz'fer,jennish,zerro) is what most people suggest

Edit: No wizards, but I got an SS Spear (Koko the Igneous) and A Archer (Manmer the Defender), so I'll probably stick with this.

Quadropus Rampage was one of my favorite ios games of last year. Looks like they have taken the mechanics/artstyle and beefed up the meta game around it with a new game called Crashlands.

I played it for awhile. The grind to get evo materials (ie. new jobs) puts me off a bit, but its still a very solid mobile game.

Got it when it was free and liked it...but it has that same iOS gaming feel where it was fun for about 30 mins and then I'm over it. Good concept but too many levels and too slow of challenge ramp up imo.

The co-op aspect makes it seem less of a chore though (for now).

I'm still playing the hell out of Trials Frontier. It actually gets pretty hard with later courses. It takes a while to get to them, but they're there. The controls are pretty tight, too.

The featured World of Warriors game is beautiful, looks like Zelda's Wind Waker art, but is micro pay bullshittery.

Trials Frontier is a great game, but towards a certain point the 'parts grind' becomes ridiculous. Especially having to fuse 30 nuts to make one meganut. Also, the acquisition of those parts are tied to a spinning wheel.

Unless they loosened it up a bit .. I haven't played it since early summer.

No, that part is still bullshit. The roulette wheel mechanic is still in place, and just as insidious. You can get rank two and rank three items from races deeper into the progression of tracks, but they're hard to come by.

The ui doesn't scale well on any of the normal sized iPhones, and it has bugs all over that make it look like they only tested on iPads. The movement speed of characters is probably the slowest of any moba I've played since that shitty LotR one on console.

It is very pretty though.

Im playing on iPad and its so silky smooth.

Speed is slow, but makes sense for touch.

Heroes of Might Magic 3 (remastered) announced to be released on Ipad Jan 29th.

It's one of those franchises I could never get into despite loving SRPG's. Maybe it will strike me different on the Ipad.

Played some Ancieny Legacy, our resident mobile person wrote its decent, and it is, but apparently you cant gain more attack power then 9? Maybe thats a bug but it is game breaking
