So I finished some comics!
Nextwave: Fun, good art, some really witty writing and kind of fun how it pokes jokes at the Marvel Universe. Doesn't have much of a story and by the time it finishes it feels like the intro arc of what could've been a great series but...there's no more!
B+ Favorite part was:

The section where everyone was calling the robot dude a shit (#!$^) and he's like 'Man, I'm so badass I even hung out with the Celestials for a while!
And then it flashes back to him surrounded by Celestials and they're like 'sorry dude, you need to go' and he's like "why something something' and they're like 'well...you're kind of a shit'

That was amazing.
Thor: God of Thunder 1-11 arc: This started AMAZING and the art was incredible throughout. Really cool writing with the three time periods and versions of Thor and the story about Gorr the God Butcher started incredibly interesting. The writing falls from Games of Thrones to Marvel Summer Movies about halfway but it's still very entertaining popcorn action and the art is just damn good.
A-I felt it went down a notch around halfway (spoilers):

When they did Gorr's backstory and instead of being interesting it was just a generic OH MY LIFE WAS UNFORTUNATE AND SUCKED AND THE GODS DIDN'T HELP SO I FOUND AN ULTIMATE WEAPON AND NOW I'M GONNA KILL THEM ALL. Then the Thor's team up and it's just summer blockbuster "let's kick ass with Thor power to save the day!"; was way more interesting in the opening arc when it was about a mysterious serial killer that's been going around eliminating gods for hundreds of years and no one's really noticed and the repercussions on their planets and universes. That was a real interesting setup.
Old Man Logan: My friend who is not into high brow comics recommended me this Mark Miller comic as "really great!" lol It was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo trashy, jeez. Was it entertaining on a super dumb popcorn level? Sure. But it was just embarrassingly trashy. Not a fan of Mark Miller.
C- Also, apparently in like a lot of comics in the last 20 years Hulk has become more of an antagonist? (Planet Hulk/WW Hulk/Old Man Logan). I swear back when I was reading comics and watching the Hulk tv show and playing the Hulk text adventure he was a hero guy. Is there some "breaking point" where Hulk goes bad in the Marvel universe?
Runaways S1 1-18: Started off ok, a little too kiddy, towards the middle the group dynamic kept it enjoyable and in the last few issues the plot kicked in and it paid off satisfyingly. 1-18 Was a surprisingly good complete origin story. I hear it goes downhill after it changes writers in S2+ so I'll pass on reading anymore, but I enjoyed it. As the 2nd thing I've read written by Brian K. Vaughn though (other one being Y: The Last Man which was superb), it wasn't really the same level of awesome, but it had some good parts. The art was kind of just ok too.
B+ Punisher Warzone: Enjoyable little popcorn story. I enjoy reading Punisher arcs because it's basically Batman but he kills everyone. Punisher looked really weird in this design, but I dug it.
BYoung Avengers (2013): Didn't enjoy this too much starting out. The art was stylish and modern pop, which was cool. But I had no clue who these characters were and why they looked sorta like other character (Hulking), (little Loki) (fake Captain America at one point), also the entire story run being about EVIL DIMENSIONAL MOM PARASITE was just super lame. However, it ended up being a good story and the characters really grew on me. Loki is SUCH A GOOD CHARACTER in this one. He steals the entire show and I really, really like his character here. Ended nice and bittersweet too. As I mention below I'm going to read the original run of Young Avengers so I can see their origin story which will add a lot to this one. PS, for some reason Marvel Unlimited does not carry a digital version of the final issue (it's not a time exclusive thing) which was rather annoying, but I was still able to read it elsewhere and finish the thing.
A-Now I'm currently about halfway through
The Immortal Iron First (2006-2009) and enjoying it for the great art and Mortal Kombat story like Treesong said. After I finish that I'm gonna finally read something LONG and read the Morrison arc of New X-men, Whedon's Astonishing X-men, and Uncanny X-Force. I'm probably also going to read the first run of Young Avengers because as I mentioned jumping into the 2013 run was a little confusing and I'd like to see the origin of these characters even if it's not that great of a manga.
Also planning on reading Bendis' Daredevil (I read his first one and so.much.text, but I liked the abstract art style and it seemed interesting), the recent 2012 Hawkeye, Superior Foes of Spiderman, Avengers Academy.
Eventually after I get through all that stuff, what are some good arcs to read of characters I'm interested in:
Iron Man,
Spiderman,
Fantastic Four (never read any FF, would like a cool Dr. Doom arc),
Ghost Rider (never read GR either and would like to read a good art because I like the character design and Mephisto in MvC2 looked awesome), and maybe
Captain America. I want to check out Inhumans because I keep seeing Black Bolt show up in other comics and I heard the "War of Kings" arc is a good arc to get an idea of them. Also I have no idea who the Skrull and Kree aliens are but they keep showing up in stuff which makes me want to read some arc about them so I can get more out of them in the Marvel Universe.
