I loved SPACED.

How would a game with player activated slow motion work with co-op or multi?
I'm not super fond of RDR's online implementation of Dead Eye, but it's not too sucky. There's no slowdown, it just tracks any lock-ons managed while active.

Depending on the size of the arena, I've frequently wondered if bullet-time in multi would be practical to slow time down locally for everyone, but give a cursor speed and finesse advantage only to the person who activated the slow-mo.

We also had a dog character that survived all the way through the modeling phase. The robotic dog would do various things to support Sam during the game, including combining with Sam’s suit to become a powerful piece of armor.

Bayonetta was for the most part, yes. There's a few exploits and imbalances that they need to iron out before they really nail it, but for the most part it's pretty well designed.

Goddamit Beezy. Lemme have my fun.

Awaiting Mikami x Suda game in year 2020

Also the game doesn't remind me of God Hand at all. Fighting a bunch of enemies with over the shoulder perspective with a gun + melee + qte in tight levels reminds me more of RE4 than God Hand in every single way.

But RE4 has melee like Vanquish does. It's a totally different type of melee. It's not like you can, at least from the footage we've seen, beat any and all enemies with melee. As far as I've seen, melee acts like a super move for close encounters or thinning the herd. Just like RE4.

And why would I hate it? It looks dope. Looks 10x more appealing than Bayo.

You know what else most people thinks looks more appealing than Bayonetta? God of War 3. Vanquish will be great, but it won't top Bay as action goty.

Downloaded and played a little bit of the demo before I left for work.  Seems as awesome as expected.  I think the cover system would work better if you just went into it naturally when you run up against a wall instead of having to push the B button, but I'm sure I can adjust.

Picking up weapons and stuff is a mess with everything that happens in the game. Cover can be annoying with having to press X every time and no blind fire while still hiding your head. Boss is typical Japanese shit as in multiple body part and a damn core once you hit those parts.

Sliding is the only good thing here.

8/10 overall. Huge improvement over that embarrassing game, Bayonetta.

I liked the demo.  Feels slower than I expected.  Two reasons are because of how often the boost gauge seems overheated.  It empties after doing a dash kick melee attack, when you're at low health, or sometimes for reasons I haven't understood yet.  In general it doesn't seem to run that smooth, but at least the aiming and all that is tight.

How/why do you guys get up so early to play games? I'd still be asleep if I didn't have to work.

Sleep cycle.  If I got up late today, my off day, I wouldn't be able to sleep until late and be screwed when I need to be up at 7 tomorrow.
