By the time Cyberpunk will be properly patched, you'll probably find 3000s in stores, with Lovelace on the way. :ufup

Criterion =/= Criterion

The original Criterion was reduced to a skeleton crew in 2013 or so when 80% of the staff was let go.

Nintendo knows how to balance demand with supply so the market is not flooded with cheap goods devaluing video games like garage developers like EA and Ubisoft have done :snob

I can still rock my 2070 Super. But it is worrying how this market is evolving.
Without a steady supply of GPU's the relevance of the PC gaming market will fade sooner or later.  :doge

They keep talking about these production and shipping issues but there's aren't a lot of other more complicated products that have this problem.

im interested in what products you think are more complex than cutting edge silicon.

there's a scarcity of chips/silicon components and consumer grade GPUs aren't a high priority fab

Smartphones for example have a lot of different components but are readily available.

I'm seeing RX580's and 1660's listed for 700 Euro up from ~200 in November  :lol
People need to stop buying this shit to drive prices down.

I get a $100 premium for shipping and what not, but triping or quadrupling prices is just insanity.
And Nvidia looks at this and starts selling RTX 4060's 1670's for $600 next  :doge

As of right now, no. The two big players in the smartphone world — Samsung and Apple — are focused on 5nm chips at the moment. These chips don’t appear to be in as much of a crunch as other builds. In addition, Samsung is the world’s largest semiconductor creator, so it will obviously prioritize its own products.

Just because something has "lots of different components" doesn't mean it's highly complex, especially if all the parts are "off-the-shelf" and made to cheaply snap together. The average smartphone is nowhere near the level of complexity as GPUs which are one of the most complex technological creations sold to regular consumers. Just look at the transistor counts on them alone, the 3060 has like 18 billion transistors in it!

I like the idea of using the aromas four sets. It’s been used before in The Neverhood, though that was more playful and less representational like this is. This is an interesting and exciting concept.

Next Trails game lets you switch between turn-based Trails combat and Ys real-time combat at any moment.

I don't understand how this can work with balance.

Also Kondo has an interview where he says he wants the final Trails game out in 2031 for Falcom's 50th anniversary.

Considering the first half of Trails took from 2004 (Sky FC) -> 2018/2019 (CS4/Hajimari) and that the games take even longer to develop now in 3d..idk what he's smoking. 2041 would be a lot more realistic with 3 country arcs left.

Maybe he's figuring 2 games per country, so 6 games remaining with the first out this fall.

New Game Plus Expo preshow was just now and it was kinda meh.
Blaster Master Zero 3 was the big announcement... and a new Silver Case.
Phantom Brave and Soul Nomad getting ported to Switch.

Most hyped for the Pocky n Rocky game they showed off, though.

Yes, I'm bitter about no Trails series news  :-\

I know people think this means XC3, but iirc he didn't write a ton of music for either XB game. He was the head of music production, but just did a handful of songs himself (which were all great).

Then again he could be recording a score of other composers music so could be XC3.

Wouldn't be XBX2 because that's Sawano.

I think it's like 50/50 it's XC3 or a completely unrelated rpg.

Maybe the next Team Bloober game.

Something for Monolith Software is possible but it could also be Breath of the Wild 2 or a Square Enix game I think.

However, he did call XC2 the biggest audio production he had ever worked on and was put in charge of.
So the "look at this big project" theme kinda fits in that sense.

Mitsuda hasn't worked on any Zelda game before and he has barely done any work at all for Squeenix since the PS1 days. On the other hand, he's done a lot of work with Monolith and the Xeno series.

https://www.anandtech.com/show/16535/intel-core-i7-11700k-review-blasting-off-with-rocket-lake/19

'Our temperature graph looks quite drastic. Within a second of running AVX-512 code, we are in the high 90ºC, or in some cases, 100ºC. Our temperatures peak at 104ºC, and here’s where we get into a discussion about thermal hotspots.

There are a number of ways to report CPU temperature. We can either take the instantaneous value of a singular spot of the silicon while it’s currently going through a high-current density event, like compute, or we can consider the CPU as a whole with all of its thermal sensors. While the overall CPU might accept operating temperatures of 105ºC, individual elements of the core might actually reach 125ºC instantaneously. So what is the correct value, and what is safe?.'

and still performs worse than 5800x lmao

Looks awesome, tbh I'll probably just stick with playing on turn based mode.
Graphics are a definite improvement over the CS games.
I'm hoping that based on the theme (something like a seedier version of bracers) and the story of Ys IX that it's a bit more mature than the CS series... hoping for no high schools, no military academies, and no Crossbell.

See ya all in 2024 when this finally gets released in America.

Is there still another game, before this one, that has yet to be localized, or am I thinking of another series?
