Fraps (program to record video on PC) has been updated to support recording the last 30 seconds of any game. Apparently the performance hit is really minor but that is an awesome feature. Just Cause 2 is kinda selling me on fraps.

If you recover on one Xbox, he wont be able to sign in on his online. But he can play offline just fine. Like how MSN or AIM worked back in the day. Can only sign in at one location.

I asked Vector Unit a couple of burning questions about Hydro Thunder Hurricane that I had, and got a few replies.

First off, the Mighty Hull battering ram attack from the original game won't be in Hurricane. Apparently, it wasn't a lot of fun to deal with in multiplayer matches. Disappointing, but not a deal breaker.

Also, they said that putting in remixed versions of the tracks from the original game is within the realm of possibility. I guess it depends on how well the game sells.

They're also going to work on the buoyancy of the boats, too, and that some sound FX from the original, like the Tarzan yell during a big jump, are being added in.

there is a storyline where Peter Parker is an old man and shows his limp dick. don't care if it was in the comics because that gameplay seems like a knock off of Batman AA. It's not like there weren't a bunch of shitty Batman brawler games before AA came out.

like I said, it's a spider-man game. I'm programmed to buy it. I still own Spider-Man 3 despite hating it because the period between it and Web of Shadows, I would still play it just to swing around.

I don't know anything about this Noir guy but they show him pulling a guy away before stealth killing him, so I'm guessing his spider powers make up for the lack of cool gadgets. I hope they let you use that red spider-man flashlight.

So I'm reading about the new Warioware do it yourself and it seems like Nintendo's distinguished mentally-challenged online policies have destroyed the game.

It's basically a mini-game creator that lets you actually make your own mini-games...cool! The potential to have a community like LBP of talented game creators making fantastic mini-games over the years is zomg.

Yet to get someone's created game,
1) you have to enter their longass friend code
2) they have to enter your longass friend code

so uh, that basically kills the entire concept. GJ Nintendo! :\

That trailer looked fine to me. It wasn't amazing or anything but it's not bad either. It's at least something creative that stands out when placed alongside the endless onslaught of military shooters.

A shiny pokemon is an alternate color. For example, instead of having the standard orange Charizard, you can get a "shiny" one that is black. The odds of getting one are like 1/8000 or so. There are ways to increase the odds, but I never really looked into it too much.

I've never gotten a shiny myself... And if I ever did, it would probably be something shitty... like an Unown.

Yeah these kids have some serious patience. Just resetting for 30 minutes or so to get a legendary pokemon (that I'll never use anyway) with a good nature and IVs makes me want to stop playing completely. Screw shinies.

I actually managed to get Pokerus on one of my pokemon though. That's basically a rare STD your pokemon catches from random wild pokemon. $:-\$

It's actually very useful. It doubles the amount of Effort Points you get per fight, so it makes training a lot faster.

Getting a shiny unknown is quite possibly one of the worst shiny pokemon you can get. I woulda been pissed. I never got a shiny besides the red gyrados everyone gets.
