Looks great. Good art, Good tech, gothic castle & surroundings feel.

Definitely weary about the developers, but the trailer and screens so far are impressive. Would be cool if this turns out to be the best 3d CV.

I don't think it's a matter of knowledge. Most likely, crap console hardware just don't have the extra power to do AA while rendering those quite impressive graphics with acceptable framerates.

I'll take 0x AA if it means a solid 60 fps. Dragon Ball: Raging Blast had no AA IIRC, but it still looked pretty nice, especially in motion.

UNS2 is looking pretty good, should be a nice rental. I hope the adventure mode is at least decent.

I'm with swaggaz on this. The jaggies were so so bad in the first one they killed the beautiful graphics. I'm not buying any of these until they add AA. I want the games to look like the trailers.

NSMB Wii was really easy...

the super guide in that game just you through the levels, meaning it didn't try to get those star coins that introduced any real difficulty to it. Not that it is a negative or anything since NSMB Wii was really good, but I just thought it was a pretty easy game.

and Galaxy 2 looks incredible. If I'm not required to use the shadow princess then I won't. That cloud suit looks like a cool power up. It's not like they won't have sections where you're required to place the clouds in specific area to get a star or w/e. In the trailer they even show them getting pushed around with wind.

I have a question regarding a soon-to-be-made purchase. I want to get a Ninja Gaiden game (not yet ready to experience Bayonetta, since it's going to make playing any other hack'n'slash game obsolete) and I'm torn between NG:B on XBO and NG2. 2 has all the nice new features and better inventory stuff, but from what I understand NG is a way better game. I've already played through about half of NG1 playing Sigma when I had a PS3, and I loved it, but I'm not sure it'd be worth it to do it all over again.

Anybody wanna help me out here? How painfully bad is NG2? Or is it astoundingly good?

Like I said, I played Black. I love the difficulty, it reminds me of old school games. You spend your time exploring the game's mechanics and exploit them for your benefit.

NG2's combat on the other hand completely trounces the original, and is still better than every other action game in existence, easily. NG2 is as pure as action games can get; completely linear level design going from one encounter to the next, with no added bullshit like puzzles or backtracking.

NG2 is also the hardest game this generation that's not a 2D shooter. That could be a plus or minus depending on your stance.

I'm not great a NG, but once I got the scythe I found NG2 to be much easier than the original. That weapon just destroyed things.

If it's anything like DMC4, then it's bought. I don't really understand the point of criticizing level design in a hack'n'slash game. Just make them pretty and relatively easy to navigate, and I'll be happy.

Yes, I'm talking about Master Ninja mode (specifically a full 4200 kill run without skipping encounters). You learn to deal with rockets and incendiary shurikens over time, they're really not bad (only in the forced bow sections are they horribly annoying). The deadliest thing about the incendiary shurikens is they explode immediately when they hit the wall or floor, and that can take a whole lot of health away. And yes, the Scythe is god. So are the Tonfas.

The DLC is much harder than the story mode too.
