You can try Supercade too, it's pretty similar to GGPO but it's lacking in players. Kaillera isn't so good from my experience, but I can't even remember the last time I used it.

So I stumbled across this project called "The Epic of Zektbach" which seems like it a group of Beatmania composers who made music to an imaginary story or something.  I dunno.  Konami sells the cd.  Anyone the music is pretty good!  There seem to be 2 versions of the songs.  One beatmania style synth and one by the Asian Philharmonic Orchestra.

i spent 20 minuts jumping to a system that has ore i need to mine. i wasnt sure about the sector so i brought my ship with guns on it and mounted one of my miners on it.
i get there and its pretty safe so i dont need the guns. so now i would be much better to have my mining ship with two miners on it and a huge cargo hold.

but that ship is a total of 39 jumps there and back  >:(

PS3 exclusive of course...for now

Killzone 3D...360p,doesn't matter,it has MLAA...woohoo

Good tech actually, but not without problems...it doesn't like thin geometry, still screenshot quality enhanced greatly...motion not so much

It's basically the blast processing of this gen.

The developing community hasn't really explained MLAA in detail but of course the fanboys all think it's some kinda miracle solution that can be activated with a switch and anyone who doesn't use it, i.e. RDR team, is lazy.

yeah, that's exactly it.  All I see is "oo does this have mlaa?" "I hope this game uses mlaa  :D" etc etc.  it's really weird.

that said, I wish there was a magic AA solution because my hopes of the 360 version of Naruto UNS2 not being an aliased mess like the first PS3 game have been crushed.

And Killzone 3 is 360p what?  I give up on HD console gaming this gen.

I think MLAA in that comparison (Saboteur) looks a little worse on PS3 w/MLAA.  The textures look muddy and lacking detail and clarity.  Not having jaggies is nice, but if it damages the picture quality as a result I'd rather have jaggies.

MLAA is not really needed if the GPU is fast enough.  I read somewhere that MLAA actually adds some lag because of the processing being done on the CPU instead of the GPU.  It's just that in the PS3's case, the RSX is so weak that MLAA might actually make be more effective sometimes.

Based on my years of tweaking IQ on PC games, I think that Supersampling AA is still the best looking method but it's awfully resource-demanding.   Nvidia's new 32x and 64x CSAA methods for Fermi aren't exactly equivalent to supersampling but they come very close.  Add a little supersampling for just transparencies and the picture is almost perfect.
