All I've heard is that if you get 1 game on steam as a developer or a publisher, you have free reign to release other stuff on steam, no problem. To get that first game on...no idea. Gabe flips a coin I guess. There's plenty of crap indie games and shovelware on there, yet the game made by a gaffer (chubigans?) that was an oil mining simulation was rejected, despite winning a few awards; so he sold 3 copies and made no money. Meanwhile Feep (who is a good guy) not only got his game Sequence on steam, but got it included as a premier game during the xmas sale, which led to a bijllion sales and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ coming in.

The majority of European published adventure games never appear on steam for whatever reason. Even when they get great reviews and win lots of awards like this one:

Someone mentioned this on GAF and I tried it. The frame-rate isn't rock solid but its a damn fun game. Especially if you can convince a few friends to buy it and get some multiplayer going. And its fucking 80 points.

I turned off my cpu fan (not the heatsink or main computer fan) months ago I guess because it was making annoying noises. Was wondering why my computer was so hot and cpu temps were ~80C when playing games. Eek. Hopefully didn't do any damage in the long run. I read cpu cores can run up to like 100C max and if they're too hot they throttle down performance.

River City Ransom and I think Renegade got released on the Wii Virtual Console in NA. The Japanese Wii VC got a bunch of them, and heck, even the 3DS VC has one of the Game Boy games now. Not much hope of anything not released in English showing up outside Japan, though.

Crash N The Boys Street Challenge got a VC release too but I never played that one.

Dodgeball and World Soccer were insanely good. Shame the basketball game was cancelled before being released.

Enjoyed the Japanese ones that were fan translated as well. The best SNES one I played involved you being a part of a motorcycle gang and ending up in jail. I can't recall the name. A modern remake of River City Ransom with dodgeball and soccer minigames for XBLA would be godly.

I remember there being an XBLA Indie title that was released in Japan. It was basically a redone dodgeball. I downloaded the trial once but I don't remember if I even played it.

I was wrong about the basketball. I was thinking of Crash and the Boys: Ice Challenge which was never released. I really dug the Double Dragon II Game Boy game too. It was basically just a reskinned Kunio GB game.

@Cravis I remember that one, the opening title is at a river with green grass and a blue blue sky. The opening animation has you in jail and trying to escape as I recall.

@Oscar, I get millions dont have millions to invest in making titles everywhere, I'd just want a complete pack at this stage.

Does anyone know what ever came of the sequel to RCR 2 that a single guy was working on? He supposedly bought the rights and started working on it but then abandoned it when Million announced River City Ransom EX for the GBA. I always wondered if the guy was blowing smoke or if he released any images of the work in progress.
