It's Rock Band Unplugged (PSP game) for consoles. Unplugged was a good game, but couldn't compare to Frequency or Amplitude, and like Stoney said, music was part of it.

So we were going to get an awesome arcade style space game from Sidhe (Shatter, Gripshift), but every publisher said "EWWW SPACE, NO MONEY FOR YOU". Looks like they're either going to kickstarter it or do a Minecraft "pay for Alpha as it develops" thing.

Either way I hope they get a chance to do this. Sidhe makes really great gameplay and has nice presentation as well in their games. Would enjoy a space fighter from them.

StarWraith and Egosoft have done pretty well recently in this genre with Evochron and X, respectively.

You'd figured that when Wayforward got to make a new Double Dragon the one thing they would get right is the spritework, but this looks so very bland and slow even by Double Dragon standards. Guess I'll be sticking with Advance for my DD fix again.

but no i connected it via usb...

shouldn't this thing pops up in "game peripherics" too?

The charge and play kit doesn't work like that, all you can do with it is use it charge on your PC. To actually play with your wireless controller on a PC, you have to have a wireless PC adapter like this:

I'm currently playing both Soul Blazer and Terranigma back to back right now. I've been jonesing to play an old school top down action adventure game for awhile now. Soul Blazer gives me a very nice Actraiser vibe and I love unlocking people and homes of the areas I'm in as I progress. Not a huge fan of the "kill enemies until gate disappears" as it gets a little repetitive, but the awards are usually nice. Terranigma is the shit though. I love the complete tonal and pacing shift after you get out of the underworld. Feels like you're playing a better and different adventure game.

I never owned a C64 (I was stuck with my dad's work IBM-compatible) but pretty much all of my friends had one and it was the official computer of my school so I grew up with them. Amazing system with a ton of amazing games, many of which I am still discovering (and finding to be quite playable today).
