Video games is a major hobby for a lot of nerds (myself included). That plus a lot of nerds don't have a lot of disposable income so they buy a console and need to know the company behind it will not screw them over. So a loyalty forms there.Obvs brand loyalty exists everywhere anyways but it's compounded by the nerd culture.
Quote from: archie4208 on November 12, 2013, 08:42:24 AMA lot of people at GAF probably had the original Playstation as their first console and brand loyalty has stuck over the years.Someone who was five years old when the PS2 first came out would be 18 years old right now. How mind-boggling is that?

Ask for a picture from the seller. Dont be a vag.Chances are it's the regular version.
It's like you're just now discovering the seedy void that is mobile gaming.
wow it's like someone said "we know you liked FFT for the art and music so we made a social mobile rpg out of it"
/Also I'm sure Mr. Gundam can answer this, but was Another Century's Episode R on PS3 that bad. Should you avoid it even if you've never played the game? Should I get Gundam Unicorn PS3 over it?
That video has a lot of views. It probably sold like 5 Ouyas.
#t=623Insane character model mods. Batman, Tomb Raider, Street Fighter, Battle Angel, KOF, Rumble Roses, Metroid, Mortal Kombat, and more.
I enjoyed and even GOTY'ed a 4/10 game once. Reviews are worthless for me personally.
Can you buy stuff off the JPN store with US dollars? Or is it stupid like PSN where you need to buy pre-paid cards from Japan or something?
If anybody wants to mess around with GameMaker Studio, the $50 version is free for a limited time. http://www.polygon.com/2013/11/26/5149048/gamemaker-studio-standard-edition-free-to-download-for-limited-time
Final Fantasy XI, Dragon Quest X and Final Fantasy XIV Crossover DetailedThe Massive Final Fantasy XI, Dragon Quest X, And Final Fantasy XIV Crossover DetailedSquare Enix is having a crossover between their three main MMORPGs that brings slimes into Final Fantasy XI’s world Vana’diel and Moogles into Dragon Quest X.A sage from Dragon Quest X will take a Great Ark visit Final Fantasy XI looking for a lost slime. This will have a Monstrosity event - a feature that lets players control monsters - where you can play as a Blue Slime. You can also get special Slime gear. Also, Spriggan, a monster from the world of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will suddenly show up in Vana’diel. It seems the Moogles can talk to Spriggans. Just like the Blue Slime, players will be able to control the Final Fantasy XIV monster using a Monstrosity. Players can get Spriggan equipment too.Meanwhile in Final Fantasy XIV, Shantotto, a powerful Tarutaru black mage from Final Fantasy XI who has her own expansion pack, shows up in Eorzea. Players can fight Shantotto in a FATE (Full Active Time Event) and if you defeat her she can join you as a minion. Minions are basically Final Fantasy XIV’s pets, so it’s kind of weird having an all powerful mage reduced to that.Another FATE has players fight Golems from Dragon Quest X and if you win you get a tiny Golem minion.Because Shantotto is all powerful she also shows up in Dragon Quest X. If you help her find materials for black magic you can get a Chocobo hat.A moogle from Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will give Dragon Quest X players a quest too. Complete this and you can get a Cactaur Mask. The crossovers being on December 11 with content from FFXIV and DQX meandering into Final Fantasy XI. Two more Final Fantasy XI events are slated for 2014. Dragon Quest X will have the Final Fantasy XI crossover between mid January and mid February. The Dragon Quest X and Final Fantasy XIV crossover (the moogle) will take place afterwards in mid February to mid March. The two crossovers for Final Fantasy XIV will take place in the end of January to early February 2014.
It's nice to see Microsoft is showering Gold subscribers with great content.
