they don't sell hot pockets where I live, but are you really supposed to put them up your butt after microwaving them? With a name like "hot pocket" it sounds more like you should put your dick in it. poor #branding tbh

Rax, XB1 downloads patches and installs from disc at the same time, that's why it's so slow. Go offline when you first install from disc and it'll speed right up, then you can go back online and install patches separately. Inelegant solution, true. I agree the interface is Kinect-oriented bullshit. They're probably gonna do a complete UI overhaul when Win10 comes out.

Well, I eventually just hooked it up to a wired connection and that sped it a long. My wifi speeds were just terrible. Though this is the only console where this has been a problem. Including the 360. The way it handles patches and installs is'nt the best that's for sure.

Other than that my first few days with the system have been rough. Sunset Overdrive seems nice though.

I ended up spec'ing into the class-race to use it. :-\

I usually hate tanking, it's so imperfect, but in this game a tank barely survives so it's really not tanking in the traditional sense so I regret nothing. 8)

Gods of the Warp Minmatar armor design is so scust though, I mean look at this.

Found this article on the relationship between grime (basically proto-dubstep, UK hiphop) and gaming. Thought it was pretty interesting, and I used to talk to Logan-sama a lot online back in the day, so it's nice to see him getting to be pretty famous.

The an hero is a crippled deserter tapped up to join an army of functionally immortal soldiers who transfer consciousness at the moment of death to a clone.

During boot you have to kill yourself to break yourself of the self preservation instinct since it's a liability for a functionally immortal soldier.

Same here.

But I'm pretty sure shootouts are cheaper to include, for the amount of gameplay time generated.

EVE Chronicles, Kapitan Karakand.

I was asked to join a newbie corporation out of the blue. I'm a suspicious fella so I cautiously accepted but maintained dual residency between the corporation's base and my former home. (It helps that they're both hella far from one another so the logistics of moving so much stuff was just impractical--I'm a combat character not a freighter or a miner.)

The corporation's base is on the border of low security space, i.e. you can dive in from it, cause trouble, and then leave. There's also little in the way of NPC protection this far from the galactic core. Guess what happened when a corporation of newbies moved out here? A small corporation declared war on them and destroyed millions of ISK's worth of newbie stuff.

The corporation's chat channel turned into a bad game of Paranoia! (there are no bad games of Paranoia! -ed.) and I did some digging on the employment history of our CEO. Turns out he's run a few corporations out of this exact same spot in his time. We surmised that this is a con he's run multiple times and we're just the most recent rubes.

Thankfully I didn't lose anything in PVP because it wasn't worth risking a fight with my ship. :patel
