latest nvidia drivers have a very useful fix for anyone who installed the ones released last month that they pulled and scrubbed off their website:

My co-worker had his PC crap out at home after a Windows update. Had to repair it through safe mode.
Arrives today at work. Boots up PC.... yep, same Windows update. Screen freezes. Luckily again he got it to boot in safe mode.

It seems that Nvidia and Microsoft are once again trying to outdo eachother with shitty updates. However, I guess that does beat not having regular updates at all (cough AMD cough).

I'm actually pretty excited about Rage 2. The original had some problems [pointless open-world, missing final third], but the gunplay mechanics were rock solid and it was a beautiful looking game. A more focused development building off established basics with a clear goal could do some really good stuff.

Maybe they're using Star Fox Zero assets, they never got much use and they can't port Star Fox Zero.

With regards to F-Zero. It's been ages since F-Zero GX was released and outside of some easter eggs the franchise is dead.
Nintendo seems quite invested to try and revive the Star Fox franchise. Although they've also recently shown interest in doing WaveRace again.

Who knows, maybe it's also Labo compatible. Like run around with your cardboard Arwing Cockpit for the kiddies.
I hope they don't keep the name Star Fox Grand Prix, that sounds like shitty shovelware.

Space furries are dumb, but I'd gladly take what I picture as a Diddy Kong Racing-esque F-zero whenever the Switch library becomes worth a crap. It would certainly be more interesting than the billionth souped up Wii-era 2d mascot platformer. Nevertheless, if it was true, anticipating or speculating about "Retro Studios next games!" should stop being a thing afterwards. Because then clearly Nintendo doesn't plan to let them be that studio that makes core-gamer specific titles like Metroid Prime or that sticks out as "that western studio" compared to just another team that makes polished cartoony things.

I had a dude in class with a hand with only two fingers who could play Halo like a boss on the Xbox Duke controller.

This seems like another way for Microsoft to bank on disabled people. I mean, how are you going to hook up the Xbox One X, insert a disk, and press/hold the tiny sync button if you need one of these controllers to play?

Good luck having your mom/grandma/care taker who doesn't know shit about electronics install your Xbox for you. Not to mention the gazillion buttons you need to use in 99% of the Xbox games
