This article mostly just reads like games that weren't coming along in development or just didn't project well, not the service itself. Every publisher does this, so this isn't really earth shattering. It sounds like they probably went after stuff that people could do a trial sub for, finish, and have no desire to play again. They're gonna target the same kind of stuff that console publishers love, anything that remotely resembles a GaaS.

Gamefan for me - acid trip Halverson, Nick Rox, Shidoshi, those awesome Terry Wolfinger covers...

I got a pretty good deal on nearly every single Gamefan ever released, in mint condition, a few weeks ago. So excited to go through them and relive a lot of my old memories. Their import coverage was super legendary and they tipped me off to some great games (Gunstar Heroes, Landstalker, Sin and Punishment)

I can see pushback on $70, but I thought there would be pushback on $60.

FACT CHECK: I already bought multiple PS4/Xbone games for a buck or two.

Gears of War Ultimate was 99 cents, so was The Crew and Diablo III, Watch Dogs was also like 2 bucks.I also bought Doom 2016 for 2.50(that still counts) and Sunset Overdrive was in the same ballpark. All bought from a German games reseller, so I even have the receipts.

Just gotta jump on the opportunity when people sell their games way too cheap.

I think it's still better than the clownshoes other covers, which makes me think they made the others deliberately worse due to the fact they kinda missed the layup with the Kobe cover.

I only think that due to the fact the last few LE covers have been so good.

that Dwade cover is so sick I bought the LE when it was on sale digitally...was legit upset that the system tile/intro screen is still the goofy AD cover.

65€ to 69€ is pretty standard for console games, but you can find 59€ on Amazon/big chains pretty easily.
Mom & Pop videogame stores can go even higher (a store near me had Last of Us 2 standard edition, at 83€

).

But then again i mostly game on PC and use various key sellers (more or less gray

) and with shit like Gamepass, i'm no too worried.
I also play a lot of open world games, that last me 5000 hours.
