Just didn't hold my attention..  Even if they up and don't mention the likes of DD2 (in which there'll be riots), they could at least drop a current gen patch for DD1 uping the res, framerate... or basically a full-on remaster...  They're Remaster works all, you can't go wrong.

Pretty curious about this one.

I feel like TO PSP remake was 100% perfect and nothing could be improved any further. A quality port of that to modern stuff is all that's needed. If they're doing a full on new remaster/remake honestly they should've gone with FFT instead. FFT still lacks a good version beyond the PS1 original.

Right?!?  I won't say no to a release on modern systems, but let's get a remaster/remake of the SNES or N64 Ogre Bagels, or even the GBA Tactics Ogre.  And if we're never getting another sequel to FFT, then let's have a remaster of FFT on current systems and PC.

I really love FFT and it always bugs me there's no really nice pixel perfect 2d version with quick load times, good translation, and quality of life modern gameplay stuff I can jump to.

Also if they're going to remake some Matsuno games, why not do Vagrant Story? Game is pretty small scale and you can do a full remake in UE5 for a pretty reasonable budget I'd imagine.

Really looking forward to Pocky & Rocky Reshrined and I'm glad it's not just a straight remaster. I couldn't fully understand the controls in Wild Guns Reloaded so I never got past stage 2 or 3, but I enjoyed the Ninja Warriors remake from start to finish.

I also had no idea that the same team made Omega Five. I need to check it out again. I was hooked on increasing my score in that game for months back in the 360 days.

Starfield should have been made and released 6-8 years ago; near the launch of last gen... Maybe it would've had a greater impact..  As long as they've taken on developing this game, it seems rather lack luster.  Sure, it's got some fancy grafix here and there, but I saw nothing to write home about.   And we all know just how broken this game will be when shipped.

NMS was definitely ass cheeks when launched, but the dev team keep hammering away at it and have really made it (possibly surpassed) the original vision.  We know Bethesda will plop their turd on everyone like it's gold, but will never polish it.... leaving it to modders/Bethesda superfans to polish it themselves... I'm sure they've got all their alien sex mods on standby.

IIRC the beta feedback told them to keep working on the PvE, but the new PvP content was mostly fine. The "release" is simply the F2P framework being ready.

Thoigh from what I heard is the PVE also the only really new thing while the rest just feels like a patch for Overwatch 1. Though since it's free to play now people might be less upset about that

Yeah, that's how it was supposed to be, the PvE is "Overwatch 2", the PvP is "Overwatch" with some unclear thing about what it is you get F2P and what you get from owning the original. I think it's just skins and crap like that because they backed off PvP being restricted only to the first game. Maybe playlists or something. The long term goal is to transition everyone to F2P Overwatch 2 so I'm sure at some point it'll just be a badge on your account and maybe some small collection of cosmetics for people who bought the original.

It's really what Valve did with Team Fortress 2, they just didn't call their PvE mode Team Fortress 3.

Game Pass will give it better exposure on Xbox and the developer certainly got money upfront for that deal. On consoles, it'll probably sell the best on Switch by a good margin.

I have it on Steam but will probably try to get a physical copy for Switch and do a first playthrough on Xbox.

Yeah I was LTTP and took the Rebirth thumbnail as a DLC or a spin-off, not a direct follow up...  We'll see how much they'll stray off the main path.
