Its impossible to find places that sell WoW TCG tho.

which is exactly the issue i've run into.  even at gaming stores

You can order decks and boxes from Amazon but they proxy for some off the wall site i've never heard of. They get good feedback but for some reason the stuff not coming DIRECTLY from Amazon makes it seem like more work.

I had an estimated 3k honor due, which would have gotten me the season 1 shoulders. Honor resets and I get... 1200. The estimate was off for more than the actual honor granted. Blizzard is over-promise and under-deliver.

The biggest pisser was, if the estimate was on then I would only be another 3k away from the War Stave I think, which might be better since my shoulders now are blue but have spell hit, and the felshroud has spell crit. I think I need a certain level of spell hit to get good raid dps. The staff has spell hit and crit I am pretty sure, and more damage than my current staff, just less crit.

My lock is at 637 spell damage and 21%(+ 5% talent bonus) crit. I've been planning out my gear, and due to the inbetween status of the tier 4 set, I only want two pieces for the 2 piece bonus. For the rest I'd use arena or any spell crit cloth epics, plus my engineering goggles which are better than t4 or arena. So 2 t4 +goggles +arena means I need to use gloves and shoulders for the pve 2 set bonus, which is why the arena shoulders are iffy, but resil  is pretty much required for any pvp now. What it all adds up to is that I am going to have to mix and match gear because shadowfrost has NO spell crit, the fire tailoring set does but warlock fire spells get less bonus damage to begin with and do not proc a debuff like shadowbolts do. I checked a bunch of raiding desto locks on my server that only have 17% spell crit, which seems low to me. I guess they rely a lot on food, pots and raid buffs.

Im not sure what process is involved with estimation. For HKs do they still do this global check and balance against all other players? I mean the BGs return a flat rate, you get what you get, but HKs seem to gum stuff up cause of the deminishing returns

ALSO! Finally got my war staff. Time for another break from PVP to level up my druid. Finally getting that spell damage closer to respectable levels. Still need pants, bracers, belt, rings, trinket...and wand and spell power chants. I also got level 9 food and water and mage table this week. Big week woo

God damned belfs

My server is so imbalanced.

http://www.warcraftrealms.com/census.php?serverid=734&factionid=-1&minlevel=70&maxlevel=70&servertypeid=-1

31% of 70s are Alliance. 27% Are Blood Elves and that number is rising. Close to 3x as many Blood Elves as there are Dranei, Dwarves and Gnomes combined.

It has more to do with the starting area honestly. Alliance enjoys several great starting areas while only the Undead REALLY enjoys a good starting zone. Trisfall Glades + Silverpine are great, whereas The Barrens is a big armpit and Mulgore is a boring early area that is connected to, you guessed it, the Barrens.

Sure, Horde can choose other races and travel to silvermoon, but why not just make a belf and be done with it.

I didn't like Trisfal too much. too many mobs and too many undead mobs which are immune to various things. Belf area is fast as hell to get to 20 in though, but I don't think that is it.  It's basically the emo look, erp fashion of my lame server and also the fuckin OP racial for pvp. It is actually a nice racial for pve as well, since its like a free mana pot.

And the Dranei area is also fast and has got good early quest rewards, but its still rather low population wise. Out of the ally characters, I only really move the dwarves/gnomes to elwynn since their starter area is too big and quests too spread apart, a la Barrens. But the only real great starter areas are elwynn/westfall and the Dranei area. Night elves second area, Darkshore, is actually a pain in the ass. Then you have Ashenvale next, where Astranaar has Horde in it more often than Alliance.

I think what hurts Dranei is what also hurts the NE area, that Alliance are never in Darnassus or Exador and most of your sides population is on the other continent. And you don't have a nice easy zepp ride to get there, you have to do an hour long corpse run.

Basically its the pretty look, the fast starter area, the pretty look, the racial, the elf factor, the factor that they have some of the most popular classes minus warrior, and the pretty look.

Horde are NEVER in Silvermoon, mostly in Org and some in UC. Most old world horde areas are still pretty poorly developed in terms of quests and mob density. The belf area is all n all more difficult to solo than the Dranei area, but it has an easier end quest. Dranei area has an easier layout and its quests are mostly easy but its end quest is harder than the belf one.

Yeah Silvermoon is pretty empty. Org is the most pupulated, but its too spread out for me. Thunder Bluff is nice and easy, so I take that or Undercity as home.

If you are leveling it is pointless to buy gear, especially with the changes to leveling it is just not worth it.  You will be out of that gear in no time flat.  I walked into outland on my SP with a level 40 staff.  It is especially pointless to buy anything given that your first 30 minutes in outland will just about replace every gear slot you have.

Blues in the 10-19 and 20-29 range are always gonna be pricey.  I see good 29 cool young dude stuff go for 80-100 gold and will always sell at that price.  After you get your flight skills paid off money really is not that important giving people tons of money to throw around at side projects, like twinks.

Executioner enchant so expensive! :gloomy :gloomy . My gem and enchant bill after two weeks of just farking Kara is going to wind up at or above 1000g, ouch.

My fury PvE is finally getting into decent shape and I have my fast flying mount, so I think I've almost beat the game (for me) at this point since I don't want to do 25 man PvE asshattery or arenas/PvP.

my outland zone ratings, in order from good to bad:

Nagrand
Netherstorm
Zangramarsh
Terrokar Forest
Shadowmoon Valley
Hellfire Peninsula
Blade's Edge Mountains

Now that I think about it mages in instance groups don't seem to have much fun. Usually the priest wins the cloth drops, and all the mage does is serve water and damage from afar. And poly I guess

Mages are fuck boring in group PvE. Everyone just wants me to serve a boring ass utility role that uses 3 of my 80 gajillion spells and they get mad when I generate too much threat but gee golly im a fire mage gtfo if I wasnt you'd probably ditch me for some warlock as soon as I throw you a table at the meeting stone.

Ah makes sense. Those quests really give lots of gold. The economy on my server is stalling, and most of my blacksmith stuff isn't selling. So I've been doing well getting 3g-7g rewards for quests, and there are a LOT of minerals in outland too. Adamantite sells pretty well
