I guess to me the most important part in sex is that the person actually likes being around me, or maybe even cares about me as a person? I guess that's weird and gross.

It's a service. Way more intimate than most, but a service nonetheless. And you don't 'consume' sex workers any more than your boss consumes you, or you consumed the person who tiled your bathroom. Sex work has its issues, but I don't think this is one of them.

There's something satisfying about watching ingrown hair removal. I wonder what it is actually that makes it a problem for some men. I know it can be a problem for black men because of the hair type, but it seems to happen for other men too. It is something I have never had an issue with which makes me curious. I do get bumps from time to time which are hairs, but they always come through within a day or two. I've never had to tweezer a hair out though.

I mean this is insane. He must have years worth of hairs stored in there.

I have keratosis pilaris (chicken skin), so ingrown hairs are basically normal for me.
Occasionally one will give me trouble and get inflamed, but it's become rare with age. I could moisturize and exfoliate the affected areas (tricep, thighs), but most of them are just tiny red bumps or coils of hair, so I don't. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Was a pretty stressful last week or so at work, TBH- A combination of updates fucking up stuff and some software being replaced with new application was just a nightmare for us. Nonstop calls and emails all day long, from legit concerns to "I DON'T LIKE THIS BECAUSE THE ICON COLOR CHANGED!" and "IT SAYS 'SEARCH' INSTEAD OF 'FIND'? THAT MAKES ME SO MAD!!!!!"

The last call I got today was the icing on the shit sundae- a lady near-screaming about one of the new applications (replacing one that has been around for years) along with a lawyer on the line- the latter was calm and had questions that needed to be addressed, but the former was just like "I AM PISSED ABOUT THIS BECAUSE NOBODY TOLD US SHIT IS GOING TO HIT THE FAN NOW" etc etc. I kept my calm and while she was ranting, then checked and confirmed that her entire office received an email about this change, with extensive notes, documentation, etc. that both of them did not read. This threw her off for a minute or so, but then the ranting started up again.

She then drops the bomb and asks me what this program is and what it would be used for.

So I sent her complaint on to management and made sure to note everything she said, including that last statement.

Last reaction I saw from my boss about it was "OH JESUS"

Had a totally insane last 3 weeks since recovering from some bad health stuff. Work's crazy, running my halloween meetup's been nuts, building new PC, dates, movies, etc...I've been getting like one good night of sleep a week maybe.

But today finished! Last night finished the Halloween stuff, but had to get up early and get a ton of work stuff done that scheduled, but now I have an entire weekend with no plans, next week is pretty light and no plans next weekend either (and then leaving to Japan for 10 days after that). So stoked to sleep this weekend and exercise and eat non-junk food and get some reading and gaming and stuff in at a relaxing pace.
