Quote from: Kara on January 15, 2020, 09:49:53 PMPerhaps I'm just a neoliberal subject but I find it refreshing to have a city wholly subservient to capital that doesn't pretend that it has a culture.I try and enjoy it as a theme park or a joke but my irony armor shatters every time I remember getting handed prostitute business cards by an elementary school kid and his brothers who couldn't speak any English. JDPON when?

YOU'RE WANTED?!?!

Quote from: Cindi Mayweather on January 15, 2020, 10:05:38 PMwait you missed your court date?!! YOU'RE WANTED?!?! lol its been a long time and i've been back a few time for evo without any issue. a misdemeanor conviction for possession came up once for renting an apt and once for a job but i've not heard anything about it in any way for about a decade so i think i'm okay.
I feel kinda bad for admitting this because it indicates something, but I remember Las Vegas because I bought a pack of cigarettes there and smoked only because the hotel accidentally put me on a smoking floor (or I fucked up booking), and I told them it didn’t matter/don’t bother changing it. Las Vegas gave me a little bit of cancer. A lot if you count the bullshit it did to my translucent irish skin.
My friend gave me a speech on friendship and how you have to put it what you want to get back and it made me think that in OT here I've been pretty selfish in that I don't really read OT but then post my stuff and ask for feedback. I read the gaming side and the movie thread a bit, but I'm gonna try to start reading and being more a part of OT.
What about the Pacific Northwest? But isn't that way expensive?

If you want mountains and are moving east of Colorado then you clearly don't want mountains.spoiler (click to show/hide)I am bound by blood to shit on all East Coast "mountains".[close]
Mountains the size of the hill I grew up on though...
I stayed in Vegas for one night on a road trip and I never want to return. Spooky city.
Why do you guys hate Vegas? I haven't been as an adult but loved it as a kid. So did my parents. Vegas had massive pools and AMAZING arcades and as a kid you had free reign to walk around a massive fucking hotel.
Imagine going to BoreCon and having to walk somewhere else for a penis show.
Phili is cheap because their population dwindled isn’t it?Like it has a ton of unoccupied housing.
Did Cindi just suggest that California, home to a dozen of the top ranked ski resorts n the planet, does not have snow? Motherfucker they get so much snow you can ski on July 4th and Thanksgiving of the same year
most places in the US are terrible, Vegas is just up-front about it. we usually stay a week or so but we're degenerates.
Watch out for those couple of guys who were up to no good.
Houston is nearly as violent as Philly.
Haven't slept in 3 days and had to move a fridge and stove today. Sleep still not taking.
