Thinking Snowcrash is one of the most popular sci-fi novels out there. Oh well, so I say ok, I'll choose someone more popular. So I write Harry Potter, to which my old roomate gets really fucking mad saying "oh you think we're stupid because we don't know the book you're talking about. You had to dumb it down for her (the girl I gave Harry Potter to.)

He argued with me for 5 minutes, when I'd tell him I thought people would know Snowcrash, when they didn't I chose something else. But apparently, me choosing Harry Potter offended him.

Well, as it turns out, someone gave me Mega Man. Should I have been insulted and fought with them?

Y'all are going to be seeing more of me, I guess. I got this small job at a family owned PC shop that just opened. Its so damn slow, basically waiting for anyone to call, have them come in, file their PC problem and work on it (if a part needs to be ordered, throw it to the owner). So here I am, been browsing for the past 4 hours or so, trying to keep busy here and there. I've been struggling through an essay for the last hour or two that I simply can't bring myself to write. I need to type up 2,000 words on the troubles one faces filming foreign cultures etc. and specifically regarding some documentaries on African tribes we watched in class and my mind keeps shutting itself down. The paper is already two weeks late too, so if I don't have it done by tomorrow morning I'll fail the course.
