Visited my grandparents today. I was in their yard pulling some stuff out their garden when I noticed I could see some dude in their garage (the yard is separated from the garage by sun room). I moved out of sight of the doorway, then crept along the side of the sun room, grabbed a shovel and slowly walked into the garage. Didn't see anyone so I walked out the garage door and saw the guy to my right, looking into the back yard from the side fence. I walked up on him and asked if he wanted something
him: oh sup my brotha, I'm just selling some flowers, think the resident wants to buy some?
*dude has no flowers on him*
me: no
him: well, have a good day.
So I walked back into the garage, closed the door/locked it and checked the house doors to make sure they were locked. Detroit has some good areas, but they live in an average to bad area and I wish they'd move. I call all the time reminding them to lock up, and usually they do but eh, it takes one mistake to lead to disaster
