Helped my dad with some yard work for most of the afternoon, then decided to go to Taco Bell. I was still in my "outside working clothes" and my jeans had a hole in them, but I figured the same fat chick who always works the front would be there, so who cares. Turns out it was the hottest chick I've seen all day. At first I thought she was Rihianna. She looked at the hole in my pants (it's in the thigh under the pocket, and you can't really see any skin) and almost laughed 

Fuck it, I'm gonna go back there tomorrow during lunch all dressed up, just so she knows I'm not a bum. But knowing my luck the fat chick will be working that day instead

I got racing stripes on my 500 a couple of weeks ago, I stopped procrastinating and took some pics earlier in the day.



My next-door neighbors own a Maserati GranTurismo. No pics, you're going to have to trust me on this one.

Also, the Maserati Gran Turismo is nice, but overpriced (especially depending on the year).  A neighbor in my old apartment complex owned one.  When I beat him easily in a 1/4 he actually tried to tell me it's because I drive a manual.  I nodded my head and let him believe it because who wants to spend over three times as much and still get beat?  But he would have beat me on a track at least.

I think there is getting ready to be a fight between me and my ex-father-in-law.  He's not spoken to me or my son in over a month, not to mention the fact that he missed my son's birthday and hasn't even called to check on him. 

I don't mind personally being ex-communicated, but I think he's a real piece of shit for abandoning his only grandchild just because his daughter is dead.  Now the death certificates are back along with the life insurance money, and I've already told the funeral home not to release the death certificates to him.  Unfortunately, he's the beneficiary on the life insurance because he paid for it, so I don't know if the remainder of the money will go to my son's savings account like we originally agreed on.  He seems to think that I'm going to take all of that money and spend it on myself. 

Yeah, he's a real champ.  I'll be glad if he drops out of my kid's life completely.  I'd rather him remember his grandfather as a nice old man and not a hateful old drunk.

He'd already been drinking a lot (to the point where driving at the same time was a normal thing) and doing drugs before she got killed.  This just pushed him off the deep-end.  He's the type of person that has no problem with completely dropping people out of his life without a moment's notice.  It can be for a petty reason, or no reason at all.

I don't think it's petty at all.  Although he angers me, I'm keeping my senses though the whole thing.  When it comes to my son, the less angry drunken potheads he has to be around, the better.

Yeah, I don't know how much they're still going to consider me "family."  I was an outcast from the beginning, and not trying to keep ties with the old man isn't going to help.  They know he's a drunk and he pisses them all off just as much as he does me, but they'll probably take him over me.  It's been six weeks since the funeral and not one single member of my wife's family has called to check on him.

Good golly. You're trying to do the magnanimous thing, and it's nice that you're worried about your son's view of his grandfather. It doesn't sound like he'd be missing out on much if he doesn't stay in touch with the guy though. It's wretched that you're having to deal with this on the heels of your loss. Sorry, man.

Madix is actually doing surprisingly well with all of this.  He's right at that age where he doesn't fully comprehend what's going on.  He knows that things have changed, and he knows his mommy isn't coming back, but he's got a lot of family members here at the new house (I call it a compound) to keep him preoccupied from thinking on it too much. 

I told Demi this already, but I really appreciate all the support you guys have given me.  This is the last place that I am always able to turn to and vent if need be.
