I am done with amusement parks.

They are hot
They sell overly expensive finger foods
There is no shade anywhere
The constant sun exposure due to lack of shade compels you have to buy that $3.25 24oz water
You can't comfortably oggle without feeling creepy cause 95% of the patrons are 15 years old

Constant walking just so you can wait just so you can experience 15 seconds of awesomeness
Now that I have a niece (went along with my family) I had to vicariously experience her joy, as much as one can from watching a two year old cruise around a forest of enchantment at 1mph (maybe less). Though she had her first experience with a mini-coaster which was so cute.

None of this is new to me, or anyone! but the aching in my legs and sunburned skin are :'(

Leaving my house at night, I brushed aside a few branches of a tree which is a little overgrown, and suddenly my arm felt like it was on fire. My older sister is moving away to Connecticut with my 2yo niece and 8yo nephew. They both grew up here with us. I'm more like a big brother to my nephew and a 2nd father to my niece than a typical uncle. :'(
