i was crossing the street to my place of employment to catch my bus home. the traffic was fairly backed up so when i walked up to the curb there were people waiting to turn. i began walking across and plotted my route behind the car in front because the driver had pulled out a distance so he can easily turn when the opportunity presented itself. well it did indeed present itself just as I was crossing. so as he moved up the woman in the silver SUV began to inch up. now i though initially she was just moving up a bit but upon closer inspection she was actually meaning to turn. i realized this literally seconds before she came at me and to my luck i was almost nearly beyond her death reach. i performed a sort of half turn pirouette, ending with a hand firmly placed on the side hood of her car. just as her chariot of murder passed by me i looked her in the face and for that one moment - i seen my maker. she was old and fat with bright red lipstick. grey hair shot out from her head like the icy hand of death shot out and grasped my destiny. however it was not to be her day. the car missed me my mere inches leaving me standing in the street with a bewildering look on my face. as i collected myself and resumed my journey across deaths way people began shouting "are you ok!" but i could not answer. finally as I reached my destination i remembered who I was and realized what exactly had happened. and just in that moment it dawned upon me - i didn't fucking get her license plate. that bitch drove off. what a cunt.

Damn... That's insane.

I was almost hit by a car once. The lady actually saw me and sped up, and I locked eyes with her and she was scowling at me, and I just kept my pace, mean-mugging her. She was pissed off I was walking across the gas station parking lot apparently. The only person in real danger was her, because my mom saw the whole thing and went completely ape-shit on her. It was one of the most hilarious moments of my life.

The 2nd most hilarious moment in my life also included my mom screaming at a horrible person in a parking lot. To make a long story short, cops came to yell at this guy over the leaving his dogs in the hot car, cops left, guy didn't listen and turned to go back inside the building, words were exchanged between the jackass and myself/mom, blah blah blah, this fat ass ended up chasing my car on foot as I would slow down enough for him to catch up, then I'd speed back up while laughing hysterically with my mom. I can be a real cunt when it's deserved, but I learned from the best.

Well that didn't take long. My family has officially returned to being crazy hillbillies again. My sister has three adopted children, all with special needs, and she thinks she wants another one. She hasn't worked in over 3 years. My uncle just went to jail for the second time in a month over his crazy girlfriend and now my mom and my sister are calling her and making ridiculous threats. Oh, and I spanked my kid for throwing a fit over going to bed and they called me a bad parent.

So my brother moved in with me a few weeks ago after basically being kicked out of my parent's house. I'm getting close to insisting he leave, dunno what happens next; I'd imagine my parents will take him back, I can't really see them disowning him or some shit.

I'm easy to live with. I've already got one good roommate and one shitty roommate, but adding another in my brother has left me in a foul mood lately. For instance, when I cook I clean up after myself almost immediately. I'll clean as I cook, then move any of my pots/pans to the side while I eat; but before the end of the day, all my stuff is cleaned. He's cooking and leaving everything on the oven, in the sink, etc. Then the next day he'll cook again with new pots, which he leaves on the oven, in the sink, etc. Maybe on the third or fourth day he'll clean up after himself. Sometimes my cool roommate will clean his shit up, and I'll clean it up sometimes as well, but this is ridiculous.

The latest problem: locking doors. He'll go through the back door and leave it unlocked, constantly. None of the roommates have said anything about it, and I've been locking the door each time I find it unlocked. Finally I complained to my parents, who chewed him out about it earlier today. His response? He left the house about 30min ago and left every door in the house wide open.

I'm just going to talk to the landlord in a second. I hate to be That Guy, but come the fuck on
