Uncle is sending me a tower with a i3 processor, 6GB RAM and 1TB HDD he doesn't use (Apple convert). During Thanksgiving he must have felt pity for me when I talked about how shitty my PC is. This is an upgrade from a 1.8Ghz AMD single core CPU (bough 7 years ago) with 1.5GB RAM. Photo editing is gonna be sooo much easier. FREE SHIT!

The RAM upgrade alone is a fucking godsend. Every time I open up CS5 it feels like I gotta get all Sophie's Choice on which apps I've got open. When I have two editors open, CS5 chews up so much RAM that the other editor tells me its run out of memory. Photo editing in the ghetto.

Mupepe start using proxies comcast is notorious for those damn emails. I downloaded some legal torrents and was told I was infringing on copyright. Well if the copyright holder is offering their content via legitmate torrents what the fuck do you do? Now I only use proxies for torrents, irc, and newsgroups.

Especially with sopa on the horizon. I too usually end up buying what I download unless its tv stuff which I miss all the time cause of crappy dvr's from comcast. But if its premium channels (hbo, showtime, cinemax, starz) you're looking at most of those torrents being "infected" within minutes of them going up.

That happened in the fall with my annual sinus shut down. Normally I'm knocked out for a week, yet this time I noticed i was getting sick, got sick the next day and had recovered the following day. It was pretty grand.

My girlfriend has been sick since Thursday and is still sick this morning.

My iPhone 4S is completely fried after three months of owning it. It won't charge (either USB charger or car charger), it rarely connects a call I dial (I often have to dial 2-3 times), and the headphone jack is going out.

Which is pathetic considering how I took great care of it while I treated my Motorola RAZR like shit but held up for five years like a champ.

I got the extended warranty with it so lets hope some shit happens. I'm not shelling out $849 for a new phone. This is bullshit that it fell apart so quickly in the first place.

Congratulations, scenester. If you can go to counseling, great. In the meantime, since you've crossed the initial hurdle, you might try going to a couple more meetings, just to try it on as a ritual.
